Hello everyone! Just seeking an opinion from you guys, how about if i am not going to schedule my interview and will just wait the appointment letter from USEM, how long it will be(USEM receipt of our paperworks from NVC was May 4)? What should i expect, is it an email notification or tru snail mail informing me that i am eligible for interview ? Your opinions are highly appreciated!

USEM will notify you by mail informing that you are eligible for interview and prepare all the necessary document for your interview. You can gather them now. If you had your case number which starts at MNL 200XXXXXXX you can schedule and had your medical early.

thanks for that pRETTY_aNGEL! im looking forward that i will get my appointment letter then this week or early next week(im crossing my fingers!)..

I would like to add, are there some beneficiaries here who themselves set their own interview schedule(not their SO who called USEM to set interview sched)? just an inquiry and a survery..thanks a lot!

You will be the one who will set your interview. Check the link I provided. Sometimes if there is no slot for it you can get it in a month or chances if you get it early someone rescheduled their interview. Good luck.

The appointment letter does not get you an interview. It just tells you that you need to call for the interview.

I am the one who scheduled my interview date. You need to call the Call Center in getting a schedule and NOT in USEM. But I suggest calling USEM first before calling the call center as USEM will tell you if you are already legible to get an interview date. It is expensive to call at the call center, i think it cost Php50 per min (I am not sure about the exact price).

The appointment letter does not get you an interview. It just tells you that you need to call for the interview.
