how long it takes to get interview date from Islamabad Embassy.is this a very busy appointment post?

No one can predict......It depends on when ur case gets completed at NVC.I checked ur timeline but its not updated :( .if u case will be completed next week or have been completed, there are really slim chances you get june date,..Check my time line..I guess ISL should nt be busy,i m not sure but i think they run security checks and stuff before interview as even i got a late june date.My case was completed April 23 and I got June 24th:)

Also now NVC assigns the interview date not ISL embassy.

thanks for reply, officially case is not complete but its under final review.most likely it will be completed by monday,as per operater.I know NVC assign interview dates, but I think they also check before assigning, that embassy has an open slot or not,the reason I asked ISL is busy post or not cuz I know its the only post which handle whole Pakistan plus Afghanistan too.looking @ ur timeline I m guessing they assign 60 days apart interview date from the day of completion, anyways I appreciate ur input.

My process completed today Alhumdolillah , my Wife's interview is at the end of july. I am wondering what documents do I need to prepare for her and what does she need to do for preparation. I am so nervous and excited at the same time.

What would she receive from the embassy. Please help.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg
