hi to all the vj member's...The last time my fiance called the embassy and asked the about our case,the lady said its on the final review since april 27 but until now i still dont have my visa ,im getting anxious here and so my fiance...Does anybody here in VJ with the same situation?how long it really takes after you heard that your case is on final review...Thank you so much and may god be with us always...

just don't dwell at either of the extremes about it meaning don't go thinking that you will get your visa tomorrow ( and get frustrated when it does not come), and do go giving up entirely thinking it will never come. I have seen both situations. The standard response at USEM is call back in 6 weeks. I have seen post here that would indicate that some have received their visa in a week after the additional documents, and I have seen it take the entire 6 weeks and in some cases longer so get a cup of coffee and return to the waiting room because you could be there a while.

I know what you mean, I call at least once or twice a week. Tina, the script reader that usually answers for me, says "it could take up to 6 weeks from April 17 ( last document submitted on ) so I just wait a few days and call again.

If you wish, you could chat with my Fiancee in CDO while she waits just as you are, she has quit reading VJ because she gets frustrated thinking about the whole situation. her username here is abbynorm1

Hello abbynorm1...I added you already to my YM..Same as here,they always said it could take up to 6 weeks..I met a girl in the embassy last april 22,she also submitted additional documents and she just got her visa yesterday.I'll pray for you also..god is great...

Wow, the 22nd. Must have been a "real" concern or error with a nice CO, our CO was just grasping at straws because she made a big deal about the NBI clearance looking fake, but then didn't even ask for a new one on the white slip ( she got one anyway ) the whole thing stemmed from the explanation given on the affidavit as to why the BC was late registration and the fact that Rhea used too many words to explain why it was late registration instead of reading word for word the affidavit. Now, that sour old CO will probably make us wait the whole 6 weeks.

I got my visa in 4 days after submitting additional docs (Cenomar). You have nothing to worry about unless you are under administrative processing, fraud unit, wait until you hear from us and all that #######.

I submitted my CENOMAR in person together with the fiance's statement on why he was never been married or didnt marry the mother of his 2 kids...

I dont think we are under administrative review..I got the so called white slip asking for my marriage index and statement from my fiance and it said submit from monday to thursday from 1 to 2 pm...
