When I log onto the NVC page to see the receipts for the AOS and IV fee bill there is an option to email the receipts. When I have it emailed it tells me the following and sends a PDF attachment with the receipt. Should I be concerned that it says "PRINCIPAL APPLICANT NOT FOUND" or is this just the system not having the database to associate the email with the applicant?

[/color]Dear Sir/Madam,

The U.S. Department of State's online Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center has been utilized to pay the fees associated with the immigrant visa application of PRINCIPAL APPLICANT NAME NOT FOUND. Your copy of the receipt is attached to this email in a PDF file.

If you find that you cannot open the attached file, please double check that you have the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat installed on your system. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you may download it for free at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Please contact the NVC (http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html) with any additional questions you may have.

***Important: Please do not reply to this email. This mailbox is not set up to receive email.

What name did you use in your I-130 application? Maiden name or married name? Wbat name is in the biographic page of your passport? What name did the petitioner enter while paying for the IV and AOS bills? What name is in the PDF file?

It may be that the NVC filed your case under a name different from the one entered during the online payment. Perhaps you filed under your married name but the NVC is going by your maiden name?

In any case, don't worry. So long as you entered the right case number, the payment will be credited.

You might want to verify early with the NVC the name they have on file. We filed using my married name, but since the bio page of my passport still has my maiden name on it, they chose to go by that. They told me to mention this to the US embassy during the interview since they're the ones who'll be issuing the visa under which name. They will decide what name will be recognized. I got my passport amended but it is on a separate page.

GOOD LUCK!
