I was in Manila for Trisha's appt. Same with a few others that day that I got to meet. In no cases were were permitted to go into the interview rooms with the CO. We were along for moral support and standing in the lines with them. When Trisha was called to see the pre-screener I was allowed to be at that window with her. I sat out the the CO's room while she waited but the handler for the COs in no cases allowed anyone petitioner to enter.

In our case Trisha did make it know that I was with her when she began the interivew.

Love forever,

The Day I went:

We had 5 Americans at the Interview.

The K1 Visa Petitiioners were allowed in the room

The people doing K3's were not allowed in room

They even asked me a couple of questions in the CO room.

I will be going to the embassy during the interview. wether I get to go into the interview room or not, I guess I will have to wait and see. But I will make it known that I am present. And it should make our argument little bit more substantiated.

Here's a Game Plan For You:

The night before the interview drink a bottle of Tanduay Rum, and start the day off with a Nasty Hangover.

When you arrive the gaurd will ask to see your appointment letter, Tell him "Listen here Mr. Rent A Cop, I am an American Citizen I ain't answering to you, Don't make me report you for trying to bribe me, Now out of my way and hand him a 200 Pesos and ask him to fetch you Cold Beer.

Next Process will be Pre Screener:

Both you and your girl will be up there, They will ask to see your documents and ask some question. I promise you they will ask your girl this question while you are standing beside her, "When was the last time you saw your Husband". Now you need to answer- "What is wrong with you?, Are you blind in one eye, and can't see out of the other eye". Tell her she needs to go work in the airport where they let the blind people give massages if she can't see any better than that.

Now you will be waiting to see your number flash on the screen to do the actual interview with the CO.

Once your number is called, Follow your girl to the actual interview room, which is about the size of a broom closet in USA, with glass wall where the CO sits behind with a speaker and microphone systems going.

You will have a Filipino escort you to room, and if they say you can't come into the room, Just use the old trick we use in USA, and say 'I don't Speak English", this should at least get you into the room for a short time.

If all else fails and they don't let you in the room, they will a chair outside the interview room for you to sit in. I would suggest to knock on the door and say stuff like " Trick Or Treat, Smell my Feet, Give me something good to eat", Or Knock and say "Domino's Pizza"

Good Luck.............

It's like co sponsors at the USEM.

Sometimes they allow them and sometimes they don't.

DEFINITELY a BIG plus for proving having a bonafide marriage or relationship if the petitioner is there even if they are not allowed in.

Are you all talking about the first interview that takes place? The foreign fiance's interview at their American Embassy? I'm filing for a K1 with my Swedish fiance and I'm of the understanding that after I file, everything is eventually sent to the American Embassy in Stockholm, where she'll have her interview. My friend's fiance was with her during the interview and he was allowed to go with her inside the room. The consul end up interviewing him than her. I guess it depends on the consul....and oh, she was approved. Goodluck.

C O makes the call wheter or not Petitioner can attend the interview.

I already had the RedA$$ when I got to the Interview at the Embassy because of all the issues everyone on VJ was having with Document Verification.

I was ready to force the CO to allow me into the room, But thankfully I was allowed to be part of the Interview.
