I need HELP PLEASE..

Kararating lang namin d2 sa bahay kahapon.. sa wakas..

now this is my situation..

sabi sa discharge slip.. FORMULA FEEDING EVERY 4 HOURS AS NEEDED.

BREASTFEED EVER2 HOURS

Nag feed ako ng baby ko na formula kagabi.after ko feed he popo..

then hindi sya naga stop mag sup2x sa pacifier.. parang gutom parin sya

tapos pag mawala ung pacifier sa mouth nya naga iyak sya..

tapos ni feed ko naman sya after 3 hours kasi nga lakas nya sup2x doon sa pacifier

then after i give formula he POPO again..d naman sya watery. my laman..

the same..everytime i feed him naga POPO sya.. NORMAL bayan??

about sa pacifier lakas nya mag SUP2x.. parang gutom sya..

after ko sya feed. ipa burp ko sya then lakas parin mag sup2x

pag nawala ung pacifier sa mouth nya iyak ang baby,,

wala ako 2log talaga.. ung formula na gamit ko galing un sa hospital

ung ready to use na..cemilac un..

then nag try kami ung powder same brand.. nag popo sya pero d after feeding..

QUESTION KO:

sa new born how many hours bago ko sya ipa feed talaga?? do i need to wait 4 hours??

about pacifier?? normal ba un na cge sya sup2x after na feed ko na sya cge parin sya sup2x..

then pag nawala sa mouth nya iyak2x sya... WALA TALAGA AKO 2LOG as in..

please need some advice.. kelangan ko naba ipunta ang baby sa DR?

4 hours is too long for a newborn baby to wait for his next feeding. In my case, we fed our newborn between 2-3 hours (2 oz) depende sa need nya for food. The first two weeks was a combination of breastmilk and formula. As much as I wanted to breastfeed her exclusively, I was not able because of the latching problem and supply of milk. After 2 weeks, formula na lang supply nya. Learn to distinguish the difference of baby's cry kung gutom sya, inaantok, basa ang diaper, or merong dinaramdam. It will take time, pero as time goes by, malalaman mo din.

Gaya ng sabi ng 2 Mommies, hwag mo sanayin ang baby sa pacifier dahil magiging dependent sya don. Try doing what Gracey suggested para patulogin or patahanin si baby sa pag-iyak. For the first month, di talaga normal tulog nyo. Gradually, magiging normal din. Hanggang kelan nandyan hubby mo the whole day para alagaan kayo? Kelangan mong magpahinga lalo na C-section ka. Lakad2x ka din kahit dyan lang sa loob ng bahay.

Yes indeed. Sobrang tagal nga ng 4 hours. I-determine mo rin kung gutom nga sya dahil di ibig sabihin pag umiiyak, gutom. In my case, kino-combine namin ang clock and cry to-determine kung gutom sya o hindi. Limit namin was 3 hours. Pag di sya nagrereklamo after 2 hours na pinapakain namin sya ok lang. We made sure na kakain sya within the limit of 3 hours.

Sa bassinet natutulog baby namin, katabi sa kama kung saan kami natutulog. Kung gustohin namin itabi sya pwede, pero natatakot hubby ko baka makalimot sya, tumagilid at napisat ang baby Ngayong malaki na baby namin, every morning after sa first feeding nya, tinatabi namin sa kama.

Make sure he's sleeping on his back. I'm pretty sure may mga Mommies dito na tinatabi ang baby sa pagtulog. They should be able to give you tips

yup. every 2 hours or every hour. trying feeding him from the breast to get your supply going...and that much needed colostrum, too.

no, i don't have the baby in the bed; she sleeps in her bassinet, swaddled, on her back.

may tanong ako about sa ubo ko...ano bang ginagawa ninyo about sa ubo? kasi parang first time kung magkaroon ng ubong ganito sobrang kati ng lalamunan ko...nahawa ako sa hubby ko kasi...then uminom ako ng tylenol na day ang night kaso wala na yung box dahil tinapon na namin so di ko alam kung pwede ba mag breastfeed kung uminom ako ng ganun? dahil gamot yun ng hubby ko nung nagkaroon sya ng ubo.

shiela, ang tagal nga ng 4 hours kaya nagugutom ang baby mo at umiiyak...sa ngayon dapat pag aralan mo cry ng baby kung gutom ba or hindi or diaper lang. baby ko wala syang schedule kung padedehin ko di naman sya naooverfeed kasi di naman sya nagsusuka then pag busog na sya niluluwa na nya yung bottle...just make sure na chinicheck mo yung diaper nya every now and then kung puno na ba wag mo na intayin na umiyak baby mo kasi sometimes nagsasabay na gutom and kailangan ng palitan diaper nya so mahirap na syang patahanin...about sa poop mas maganda yan kasi nagapoop sya...

about sa pacifier, binibigyan ko ng pacifier baby ko kasi there are times na kahit busog na sya gusto nya pa rin magsuck yun lang yung times na binibigyan ko sya ng pacifier...dapat din kasi isatisfy mo baby mo sa sucking para paglaki nya di sya maging talkative...hehehehehe.

riza, buti naman sinabi mo yun kasi di ko talaga alam yun...buti na lang din na parang two days ata nawala agad yung rashes kasi 4 times kung inaapply sa face nya yun...parang ginawa ko kasing lotion yun pero di masyado hehehehe...thanks.

yup, ako yun...hehehehehe sa bed namin sya pinapatulog katabi namin sya nasa middle na sya ngayon matulog...kasi mas gusto namin sya katabi sa pagtulog...gusto ng hubby ko kasi gusto nya close sya sa baby and gusto ko rin kasi mas easy for me...and ganun din kasi sa kapatid ko before kaya nasanay ako ng katabi ang baby...so far wala namang problema...mas convenient for me kasi never pa syang umiyak talaga ng malakas kasi nagigising agad ako kung nag iingay na sya...kaya yun so easy nakabawi agad ako sa mga sleepless nights ko...hehehehe...

yes I agree 4 hrs is too long talaga to wait.. now we starts every 2 hours feeding.. naka help sya

d kuna wait ang 4 hrs.. about sa pacifier try ko d sya isanay.. tina tangal ko pag sleep na sya..

now naka sleep na sya...

pag my popo sya alam ko kasi cry sya at pag mag pepe sya cry sya also..

kagabi at until madaling araw.. i am sure his stomach very upset doon sa formula na gamit namin from the hosp.

kasi everytime feed ko sya POPO agad..

ung nag start kami ng powder formula... okey na. mga around 7:30am now.. d na sya nag popo

straight ang sleep nya until 12:00pm now.. tapos nong nabasa ko ang reply nyo.. na pwde pala every 2 hrs..

pina dede naman namin sya agad. now around 12:30pm pina dede namin.. good.. d sya nag POPO nag UTOT lang sya.

now he is sleeping.. so i will not wait na mag wild sya bago ko ipa dede..

nag formula kami now POWDER.. we give him 1 1/2 oz pina pa ubos ko un.. so okey na ito every 2 hrs right??

kahit 1 oz lang, ok na. maliit pa stomach nya, remember.

you can take pain relievers for the pain. as for the nipples, make sure the baby is latchin on properly. you can use nipple cream too for the soreness --- kasama yan sa pagiging ina and, yes, pump as often as you can to get that milk out. it's not going to be much at the start. but be patient.

note: breastfeeding will hasten uterine contraction and help with your postpartum bleeding

saan mo ba nakuha yang every 4 hours na yan? hehehehehe...mas mabuti talagang pag aralan mo baby mo...simple lang naman gusto nyan...kain, change diaper, tulog, or attention...wag masyadong maging obedient sa mga "rules" to take care of the baby kasi iba iba naman yung babies kaya as a mom you should know the needs of your baby and make your own strategy in taking care of your baby...and life will be easy. hehehehe...

meron ako gamot sa pain.. sakit talaga.. kanina 2mawag ako sa mama ko para lang ask ano gawin ko..

natataranta ako ba.. iwan.. kung pwde lang isang click nasa pinas na ako or pwde mama ko punta agad d2,,

huhuhu...
