Hay mga mommies na nagpa breastfeed tapos tumigil na wala ba kayong napapansin sa bobbies nyo? Ako kasi parang may lump yong right side ng breast ko eh..napaparanoid tuloy ako tsaka natatakot ako na baka kung ano na ito di ako makatulog ng mahimbing sa gabi. Tsaka minsan sumasakit at ang laki talaga ng bukol eh.

Eve - katakot naman yang bukol na yan. Patignan mo kaya sa doktor or sa mga lactation consultant. Nagpapadede din ako pero ala nmn bukol. Minsan napapagod akong magpadede kasi minsan 1 hour cya kung dumede nung pasko pa nga 2 hrs kaya minsan eh binibigyan ko ng formula na.

Parang feeling ko anak ko lang gumagamit ng Enfamil dito Yun na kasi binigay na gatas sa hospital kaya ayun tinuloytuloy ko na sa Enfamil. Masmaganda ba Similac sa Enfamil?

Mommy Pink, Enfamil din gamit ng baby ko. pina try ko nga ng similac ayaw niya kasi nasanay na sa enfamil.

Sa hospital kasi enfamil pinapa inom. My baby was breastfeed but she just stop a week ago, I dunno why.

Mommy Eve, alam mo bago ako nabuntis I got a lump in the left side of my breast , everytime i breast feed my baby it hurts a lot. Minsan pag giniginaw ako the pain is really constant. Pina check up ko nga sa Ob ko at bukas ng umaga e uultra sound nila ang left breast ko. I hope everything will be fine. Sabi ni Doc di pa daw advisable mammogram sa edad ko coz' I'm only 23 yrs. old. Sanan okey ang result bukas!

Before nga pala ako nagpabreast feed kay baby the lump was under my nipple but after she breast feed on me for over a month it moved in the side so Im kinda scared about this. It hurts a lot!

eve, thanks try namin hanapin yan sa toys r us...hirap talaga pag boy noh hehehehe...one time nga naihian nya mukha nya hehehehe...ano naman sa tingin mo dahilan ng "lump" sa breast mo eve? you think its because of breastfeeding? nagpa=breastfeed ka ba before and nagpump? curious din ako kasi nakakatakot din kasi yan.

frosty, bili ka na lang ng decaf coffee...nung naubos na yung decaf ko di na ako nakikiinom na lang ako sa hubby ko kasi yung coffee nya eh 100 percent coffee talaga so ayoko ring magtimpla ng coffee nya...about sa soda at first i was taking caffeine free sodas pero after nun kahit anong soda na lang iniinom ko...but i prefer regular coke...kasi i remember my neighbor she always buy pop cola sa store like 5 or more bottles a day pero okay naman baby nya...im not saying to just ignore the effect of caffeine to the baby but just dont worry as long as you dont drink it everyday.

pink, nakakapagod talaga magpabreastfeed kasi hawak-hawak mo si baby for how many minutes or hours...and minsan naiinis din baby ko in switching from left to right thats why i just pump my milk kasi comfortable for both of us...and hindi naman nawawala yung nutrients ng breastmilk kung nilagay sa bottle and so i can do housechores too...

similac gamit ko kasi yun ang binigay na sample sa akin nung nag nst ako...bakit ganun di ako binigyan ng sample na formula sa hospital...hehehehehe

nag apply na ba kayo ng wic for your baby? makakakuha kayo ng formula sa checks...para makatipid din sa gatas.

"It could also be mastitis, which is a blocked milk duct that becomes swollen and painful. Don't panic Mastitis is easily treatable. Call your ob/gyn on Monday, and until then, continue to breastfeed and gently massage the area while doing so. It may work itself out."

"No it is not cancer. (FYI breast feeding reduces your chances for breast cancer). It is either an infection or a clogged duct. First of before you feed place a warm compress on your breast for about 5 min, then in a circular motion rub the lump and work your way down for a few min. Then feed your baby. You may need to try different positions, the foot ball hold worked good for me when this happened. There are many other find the one that allows your baby to drain that spot. If this does not help by monday call your dr. because most likely it is infected. He will prescribe you anti biotics and all will be good."

but better to call ob and have an appointment...

Pink- Enfamil din gamit ni Jacob. We tried Similac before kasi nga may mga sample kaso lang di sya hiyang..constipated sya. At naku sinabi mo pa talagang abot hanggang ulo ang pag-aalala ko. Iyak nga ako ng iyak kanina kasi sobrang takot ko talaga. Nadadagdagan pa ang pag-alala ko kasi nga baby pa tong si Jacob. I really hope talaga na everything is fine with my bukol.

RR-hehehe talaga ang taas talaga umihi ng mga baby boy..ganyan din si Jacob noon..pero ngayon mga isang beses na lang sa isang buwan nya kami naiihian sa mukha. I breastfeed for 2 weeks din tapos nag pump din ako. I'm not sure nga kung what is the cause ng lump na ito eh. Napansin ko lang ito a few days ago. Minsan sumasakit sya..minsan di naman. Tiningnan na nga namin online kung ano ang sign ng breast cancer and thank God wala naman akong sign non.

Mommy Wifey-ganun ka rin pala? How you handle it? Natatakot ka rin ba katulad ko? Siguro nga di ka tulad ko na worrier. Pinapagalitan nga ako ng asawa ko kasi masyado daw ako matakutin. When mo pala napansin yong lump mo? And how big is it? Sana ok yong result ng ultrasound mo tomorrow. Yong sakin naman medyo near din sya sa nipple at nasa 12 o' clock degree..parang nasa taas din sya..ewan maliit kasi boobis ko eh. Bata ka pala..di pa nga pwede sayo ang mammogram.

Tomorrow punta din kami ng hospital..well see kung ma schedule din ako tomorrow for mammogram or ultrasound which ever ang pwede sakin.

Thanks RR- but already stopped breastfeeding kasi nga wala naman lumalabas..even I pumped before ni hindi nga ako nakaka one oz after 20-30 minutes of pumping. Tapos iyak ng iyak si Jacob..kaya ayun tinigilan ko na.

Sana nga clogged milk duct lang ito kasi sa totoo lang takot na takot talaga ako. Buti na nga lang magaling mag encourage tong asawa ko.

If the area where the lump is in forms a dimple you need to see the doctor. Masses (cancerous or otherwise) are stationary and so will pull the surrounding skin into a dimple.

If the area is reddened to the outside of the skin, extremely painful and you have a fever it is probably mastitis."

May tanong ako mga mommies. Noon ba kapag may contraction kayo at the same time eh naiihi kayo? kasi ako ganun, weird nga eh. Hay ewan ko ba. May nakaexperience ba ng ganun?

I'm on my 34th week na anu-ano ba yung maeexpect ko on this stage aside sa backpain, leg cramps at yung nahihirapang magkikikilos.

It has been a tumultuous November and December. My wife left to go back to the Philippines in confusion over some things and returned just yesterday after getting everything sorted out I guess.

While she was gone, at 8 weeks and 4 days she finally went to see an ob gyn. The baby was doing fine. Heart beat was like 154 per minute. Had sonogram and the doctor said all looks fine. Today the gestational age is now 10 weeks zero days. Appointment with RN midwife at a birthing clinic on January 7 here. All is well now. No more bleeding. She gets sick pretty often though with acid stomach. I put out crackers for her if she gets sick at night, and she has water to sip on. She wont drink carbonated. She hasnt had her prenatal vitamins in a month since she left, and tonight now she took first vitamin in a month when I offered it to her. We are at mom and dads, and so far she has been eating ok, healthy foods, lean meat, vegetables... eating healthy foods again. Her weight needs to come up though. She is 5'0" and still weighs 105. Shew was 104. She is supposed to gain 3-5 pounds first trimester I read. Need to try to fatten her up some.

I think I've got the worst first trimister experience ever. I was admitted in the hospital twice because of constant vomiting. When I say "constant" it's round the clock 24/7. I can't keep any food down even water because it goes right back up. That was terrible and never wished to be on that stage again. I totally lost my appetite on my first trimister. I was 110lbs when I got pregnant but I was down to 93lbs because of morning sickness. I gained my appetite back again on my 15th week and I was very glad that I surpassed everything.

Your wife is so lucky to have a husband like you because you are always on her side. My husband works offshore and was worried all the time with my situation because he can't be there for me but that's understandable. Good thing my mother in law was there to take good care of me but hubby gets to take care of me when his home during his off work too.

Yon din iniisip ko baka clogged milk duct lang. Or kaya naman cyst....pero kasi minsan di talaga mawala yong pag-alala ko hanggat di ko malaman kung ano talaga to.

Nag apply kami kaso di naman qualified eh.
