Belated Happy Thanksgiving to all Mommies! Congrats sa mga bagong panganak! Not been able to visit this thread lately. Our little Evie was admitted in the hospital dahil nagkaroon ng fever due to skin infection. We stayed in the hospital for 2 nights and 3 days last weekend. She's doing great now sa awa ng Diyos!!!

Kawawa naman Evie, bakit nga pala sya nagka skin infection? Kaliit-liit pa dami ng pain na naranasan Dito ngayon sa haus lahat kami may sipon at ubo for how many days na..maliban kay Jacob..sana di sya mahawa sa amin.

10 weeks. :-) I can't wait for my due date. I'm racking up medical bills here. OO nga, nag-babasa ako dito ang dami daming mga napapag-daanan test at kung ano ano pa. Ung mga friends ko sa Pinas parang walk in the park lang ang pregnancy. Hehe. Nalurkey ako!!! Ang mahal ng mga lab test dito... eh sa Pinas affordable. Ganito pala dito.

Sya nga pala, binigyan ba kayo ng pregnancy journal ng OB nyo? Ung friend ko sa Pinas... binigyan sya ng OB nya. Pero di ko sure kung meron din ditong ganun.

Yeah.. well, this one is unplanned. kaya ayan wala pa ko health insurance preggy na. We are doing our best.. sana wala ng complications.

Medyo mahirap for me... miss ko na mga pag-kain sa Pinas. I just got here three months ago then here I am preggy na! So ung adjustment period ko halo halong emotional rollercoaster. hehe. Syempre dahil ung asawa ko di naman nya alam ung feeling ng preggy kahit may 2 adult children na sya... nahihirapan na rin intindihin un mood swings ko. Hehe but he tries.

4 weeks na lang!!!! Grabe!!!! Excited na ko for you!!! AKo napanaginipan ko ung baby ko kagabi. Kamukha ko daw!! Yikes! Gusto ko pa naman tisoy!!! heheehehe.

I am back and this time with my baby....

Monday (23th): I was having a bloody show the whole day and with cramps.

Tuesday(24th): schedule for the last prenatal and will be back evening for the induction..waited for the doctor, yet the cramps are getting more intense. By the time doctor came and put on his gloves to check if my dilation improves my water broke and he havet even finish putting his gloves yet..so off to the hospital we go.....I was 3cm still @12nn..1pm and I was 4cm...keeps on going until 12midnight. So they totally discarded the idea of induction since my contractions helped the dilation a looottt...(by the way, the baby pooped so he has to be out soon).Finally, 2 am I asked for epidural, pain was so unbearable and start pushing 4:30 am and he was out 6:59am Wednesday ( 25th). He was 9.13lbs and 22 inches long...AND I AM SO PROUD TO SAY IT WAS A VAGINAL BIRTH! I was soo tore up though but it ws so worth the everything.

Congratulations on a job well done!! Thought you'd have given birth over the last couple of days or so. wow...9.13 lbs...parang 2 months na yung baby mo nung lumabas.

I hear you. Ako din eh, feeling ko papainduce na ako on my 37th week. I am on my 36th week and 2nd day na. Natatakot na kasi ako dahil baka mashado malaki na si baby sa tiyan ko at isa pa tagal ko ng 4cm hehe. Very uncomfortable na rin talaga matulog lalo na kung puro contractions at sipa doon sipa dito si baby hehe. Hubby and I talked about it na about dito and he agreed naman at gusto nya na rin lumabas si baby

Chinese_mutt, naku mejo mahaba haba pa pala ang pagdadaanan mo pero don't worry di mo na rin mapapansin ang panahon at bukas makalawa eh lapit ka na sa due date mo. Ano ba yung pregnancy journal na sinasabi mo? as in journal cya na susulatan mo about your pregnancy journey? Ang meron lang na binigay sa akin eh para cyang card na dinadala ko every visit ko sa OB tas sinusulat nila doon yung weight gain ko, baby's heartbeat, my sugar/protein, baby's age, fundal height etc. Bale doon eh namomonitor ko din pregnancy ko. Binigyan din ako ng journal na babasahin about pregnancy. Good Luck sa pregnancy mo at sana eh hindi ka mahirapan

Same here. Got pregnant within a week and a half of arriving here. We had been trying for the past 2 years, but I guess God didn't think it was such a good idea for me to be pregnant 8000 miles away from hubby. He asked his employer to include us in his insurance soon after we were married instead of getting a raise; some foresight on his part so that I was covered from day 1 of the pregnancy.

Yup, 4 weeks. And I haven't made an appointment with the pedia yet. I've my pre-natals for my 36th and 37th week, then my pre-op check on my 38th week. Tapos, hiwaan na.

I tried getting induced in my 37th week...wa epek. gumastos lang ako. Every pregnancy is different and baby will come out when he is ready. Remember, labor is stressful on the baby so that the more mature he is, the better he can handle it.
