Hello everyone...

So the date on the timeline keeps changing to an earlier date, no complaints obviously, so I am thinking about the next steps ahead. My fiance and I will be using a sponsor since he does not make about the poverty guidelines. How soon is to soon to get all the information from the sponsor for the affidavit of support? Right now it is showing mid June for NOA2... could I start asking for the information now? She is getting married in July and this is probably the last thing I want her to be worried about doing, so I was just seeing if she could get it out of the way asap.

Also, could you please give me a short run down of the most important documents she should give to me for the I134... I know she has to fill out the form, but what should she include with it...

Thanks for all the help... and does this mean that VSC is speeding up since the date keeps changing??

AOS/EAD/I-131:

RFE: March 25, 2010

The instructions for the I-134 should answer all of your sponsor's questions. She can fill in all the info now and then when it is time for the interview get a few of the most recent pay stubs.

We will have a K-2 (to follow) interview in late June and I completed the I-134 and made copies today. I will add some more recent check stubs before my wife leaves in two weeks, but I am comfortable that is close enough. You can always "refresh" the I-134 by adding recent check stubs at the last minute.

An extra measure in addition to recent pay stubs is to have everything ready, and then wait for her to sign/date the form when packet 3 arrives. Not sure that it is necessary, but might help put your mind at ease, and most of the work can still be done now.
