So if I don't send any evidence of proof of a bonafide relationship for my Removal of conditions of my 2 year greencard, do you think they will request an interview or will they just send a letter back to send evidence?

Just wondering b/c I'm thinking that it would be an good excuse to go have to go to Minneapolis and have a mini get away/ shopping spree.

Don't even send the I-751 in at all and you'll get a free trip home!! I imagine things are cheaper there.

Hey, I hear they have a great mall. It totally makes sense.

If their cinnabuns don't taste like pure heavenly gold I'm not interested haha

Mmmmm Cinnabon. That was one of my favourite parts of taking the Go train to Union Station. I never bought one because they were, like, twelvity-five hundred million calories, but boy did it smell good down there. :luv:

Lol completely agreed. Whenever I go to a mall the smell is inviting but once I start thinking of walking towards the shop I feel my heart working harder to get ready for the cholesterol so I just walk away quickly.

Evidence is required and not submitting any, no offense, sounds a bit silly.

Yes, my post was meant to be silly, hence why I posted in the Canada forum.

But actually, I'm not submitting much for evidence. As Krikit said I can't mail my children USPS - so I'm sending a copy of their BC, then just a copy of our joint account and Mortgage that is in both of our names. If that's not enough then I guess I'll be hearing from them.

But really, children should be enough proof of a bonafide relationship. I don't know anyone that woud put themselves through the terrible two's just to commit marriage fraud. :)

When I sent my I-751 I didnt send much evidence. Quality is better than quantity.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

$1000 for removal of conditions ? why that much? if you got your green cards within 90 days of each other you only need to send in one form and the fee would be $465 (plus $80 biometric service fee) plus and additional $80 for the biometrics for your daughter
