Near embassy? you can see Chowking in front of the embassy. There is also Starbuck's and Yellow Cab near the embassy. Try the Yellow Cab's New York's finest pizza  Edited by o0pink0o

Where is a good place for Americans to eat near the Embassy? I am going to be staying at Blvd Mansion Hotel. Is there any thing good to eat around there?

Places to eat all over the place.

I stay away from Fast Food in PI.

Poor quality food and way over priced.

 This seafood restaurant is good. That is where our xmas party was held when I was still working and I loved their food. There is also a swimming pool in that place but I just don't know if you can swim there hehe. This restaurant is not that near in USEM though.

there's a lot of good place to eat there. For your safety though I recommend you go to Robinson's Place Ermita shopping mall. now there you can choose any kind of food you like, you can go shopping or watch a movie too. Just take a cab, it's about 5 min away or more depending on traffic. Bring all the peso denomination you can have :) .

But if you prefer to walk around (as long as you are with someone who knows Manila) just go to UN ave corner that's where you can find the fastfood the other posters talked about. If you walk farther down the street of UN avenue especially near the train station (LRT) there are more restaurants waiting for you. Bon appetit. :)

hmmm ur right

take for example here in the US. mcdonald burger cost $1... not so bad right? but in phil, they have value meal (either jollibee or mcdo) and for a dollar you can get a burger, fries and a drink... tell me thats NOT way cheaper than US fast food
