Just found out today that my DS-3032 has been GENERATED... I want to mail the DS-3032 right away, but i guess i need a BARCODE STRIP along with the form. I don't want to wait for NVC to send me the form... Will it be OKAY just to WRITE MY NVC CASE NUMBER USING A BLACK PEN OR A MARKER? Also where should i mail my DS-3032? Heard there was a change of address...Please help!!!! :( Thanks!! :)

Not to push you off, read the NVC guides the Ling Ling?? or Ching Ling ?? shortcuts, they are simple to understand and WILL guide you better then I could abu thte barcode and etc. go to WIKI scroll down to NVC click and there you go.

Will you be writing over or around the words: "Place Case Barcode Strip Here Before Mailing to the National Visa Center"?

Sounds like you would want to have the barcode strip. Might save you an RFE.

The NVC contact info -->> http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html

The DS-3032 mailed out has the NVC case number barcoded on the top.

Use a black marker and write the NVC case number in the horizontal box that says "Place Case Barcode Strip Here Before Mailing to the National Visa Center.". Make sure to include the 3 letters in addition to the 10 numbers. Please write it clearly so the NVC case number can be easily read.

THIS IS FROM JAMES'S SHORCUT.... Should i go ahead and follow this? What do you think???

actually i want to do both,,, but thanks for the info....

YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAIL THE DS-3032. JUST EMAIL NVC USE THE TEMPLATE HERE ON VJ

That is what I did and choice of agent was accepted with no problems.

sounds like email has gotten quicker, you can email and send (with written barcode numbers) thru mail, in the past emails werent answered so quick

They must have gotten faster. We emailed ours last month and it took a little over a week to be finally accepted, but it was accepted via email. Never bothered to mail hard copy. Just follow the template and learn about the word "patience", like a lot of us has had to do.

Thanks for all the help! Got it done yesterday along with the AOS Bill... Good Journey!!
