Just found out today that my DS-3032 has been GENERATED... I want to mail the DS-3032 right away, but i guess i need a BARCODE STRIP along with the form. I don't want to wait for NVC to send me the form... Will it be OKAY just to WRITE MY NVC CASE NUMBER USING A BLACK PEN OR A MARKER? Also where should i mail my DS-3032? Heard there was a change of address...Please help!!!! :( Thanks!! :)

james's shortcuts have two good ways to get your DS-3032 in quickly. one is emailing it and the other is creating your own barcode online. if you decide to email, it's a good idea to mail it as well, but you can check with NVC to see if they've accepted and entered it via e-mail after a few days.

check this link for instructions:

Will you be writing over or around the words: "Place Case Barcode Strip Here Before Mailing to the National Visa Center"?

Sounds like you would want to have the barcode strip. Might save you an RFE.

The DS-3032 mailed out has the NVC case number barcoded on the top.

Use a black marker and write the NVC case number in the horizontal box that says "Place Case Barcode Strip Here Before Mailing to the National Visa Center.". Make sure to include the 3 letters in addition to the 10 numbers. Please write it clearly so the NVC case number can be easily read.

YUP I emailed the DS3032 in the morning and it was accepted by 8pm that night. Cant believe just how fast the NVC process has gone. Mailed the last packet today and hope to be "case complete" very soon.

I Think that now that NVC is doing everything by email the whole process is much easier and so much faster than having to wait for snail mail.
