K3 FAMILY Hangout - Week of April 27

Hello everyone.. I am back!

I had a slight fever, achy muscles and diarrhea for almost 2 days.. The day after I arrived. I was thinking what might possibly the cause since I didn't even eat anything yet.. Husbie is just worried about me.

My flight was not too horrible although, my seatmate from Manila to Japan snores like hell. He has this piggy snore with loud speaker included.. And the fact that there is no courteousy toothbrush and toothpaste for travelers in JAL eventhough the flight was almost 14 hours from Japan to JFK (plus the delays).. How could that possibly be? I have traveled internationally with some airlines but they have such things. You will eat and never brush for such long hours! It is a good thing that the brazilian couple have an extra traveler's set so they gave it to me..Bless them!

JFK staff was so nice to me and apart from staying in the long queue for visa holders and visitors, everything went well..

Hey Candid, nice to c u . Oh no another traveler sick Get well soon and get some rest. I always get sick after a long trip like that as well. Everytime I have gone to Lebanon I ended sick once there and sick once back! My mom once said what is wrong with u always getting sick when u go to Lebanon?? It's part of jet lag mom, not to metion the climate change and the bacteria floating around in that airplane cabin

It was pretty good, but i hate teasing movies...you know the kind, with the open ending. jerks keep ya hanging until the next one! lol

GS, get to cleaning out those closets!!! Actually im quite the procrastinator but once i start something its on and i wont stop until its finished. So maybe if you just get started you will see that it will be done in no time. I got some of those "space bags" a few months ago and they RULE for packing away the winter stuff!

Hi Lis, it will require double whipping on ur part to get me going U have a nice weekend too I have those SPACE bags too though what I don't like about them is how the clothes smell like plastic after u unpack them at the end of the season!

Cnt and Candid, the whole hubby slaving image reminds me of my hubby. The two times I went to visit him and got sick the poor guy would make me fresh OJ and once even had to drive me to the hospital and was trying to emulate the sirens on an ambulance throughout the trip in the car; when we neared the hospital he kept making it louder on account that the ambulance has neared the ER My silly hubby ...I miss him, though at the time I did not think it was so cute, me being doubled in pain and all nauseous...hehe, I can't wait till we're finally reunited and we can be silly again together

I too feel thankful and blessed. Every night before I go to bed, I thank God for everything and bringing us to the last few steps of this journey, for giving us health and for keeping hubby safe till he is back in my arms among other things .

Hope everyone is doing well and Seren hope u get that percentage up or else lol....Good luck on ur interview. Will u have internet access while away?

Hi everybody.. Husbie is at work and I just cannot sleep. I feel a bit better now.

CnT, you are sooo right.. He is my slave for few days.. He didn't go to work the other day because I was feeling terrible. He is the one preparing food for us and giving me everything I need.. I had a feeling that it was the cold weather that is making my stomach so upset.

I wish the best of luck to Seren and Steve.
