Ok, so as far as everyone I've asked, Senators, State Rep, and NVC, Imbra will not affect K3 visa, however it is taking for ever to move ahead, do you think that they are processing all the K1 that were affected??

NBC is processing K3, so there are no K1 petitions there at all. So i dont understand why they cant just keep on moving????? Maybe they are on holiday

I too am waiting to hear from NBC on my K-3. In the meantime, my I-130 was approved which I wasn't expecting until much later. I'm suspicious that perhaps they approved it to make up for this IMBRA mess? There are rumors on other sites that K-3s are on hold indefinitely. I tried calling the info number, they would give me NOTHING.

who knows ? Even if i-130 is faster approval..its a long process to the interview in I-130......I just hope they start moving K3 soon.. I think K3 is geting less attention than k1 ...after all who cares about married people Right ? ;-)

Even prior to IMBRA, the CR-1 was comparative in many cases and even faster in some cases depending on the service center and consulate and has been for quite some time now, almost making the K-3 in many cases a waste of time and money.
