Isn't ANYWAY home today checking their mailboxes? Someone please please please say they received their mail and they go it . . . I'm gonna lose my mind.

Can't complain cause I'm leaving Friday to see my honey but if I don't have that damn RFE back in the fed ex before I leave for the airport I will be very bummed. I want my RFE. I want my approval. whine whine whine whine whine

Waiver approved after 10 months. Did NOT use a lawyer

(I said earlier) my Mom called to tell me nothing for me in the mail today! :(

And my senator's aide hasn't called back, which likely means she hasn't heard from Cali.

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

Well, she hasn't gotten any in awhile either. Plus, if she leaves town & doesn't get her RFE before she goes, maybe we can jump ahead! Mwahahahaha. :lol:

hahah talk about torture you guys.. T-O-R-T-U-R-E ... just came from my long lunch break. went home to check my mail.... NADA... only thing there were those grocery store thingies that stuff your mailbox. argh.

December 26, 2006 - Darcy's last day of employment on his 90-day work authorization. Bummer!

December 27, 2006 - Filed AOS and EAD paperwork

January 3, 2006 - Receipt date of NOA1

January 11, 2007 - 'touched'

January 17, 2007 - transferred to CSC

January 19, 2007 - biometrics appointment

January 22, 2007 - 'touched'

January 23, 2007 - 'AOS touched'

January 24, 2007 - 'touched'

January 31, 2007 - 'AOS touched'

February 1, 2007 - GREEN CARD ORDERED!!!

February 5, 2007 - Received Welcome Letter

February 11, 2007 - received GREEN CARD!!

I really don't know what to make of this. I just got an email from my senator (his immigration aid really). My status hasn't changed online and my lawyer hasn't gotten anything yet. Do I dare get excited?????

A Request for Evidence was sent to the petitioner on 06/23/2006. Once the response has been received from the petitioner, processing will continue.

I have been communicating with the immigration caseworker from the office of Senator Levin for the past few days. The caseworker spoke with her liason at the CSC and was told that they will be sending out the RFEs in a few days and once they are sent it should be 4-6 days before we receive them.

I sure hope they have already been sent!!!!

airfare to algeria wasnt really bad.. left in May I paid 700 something for the northwest/british airways flight detroit-london-tunis, then 200 round trip from algiers to tunis... with one night overstay in tunis each way.. but luckily we have friends that take care of me there!!

No RFE today for me either. :clock: I find it rather puzzling that CSC is giving different stories to these Senators....Sound familiar?

No RFE in the mail, but my fingers and toes are still crossed. :yes:

3/21/06 I-129F sent to NSC

3/24/06 NOA1

3/28/06 Touched

6/1/06 Case transfered to California Office

6/2/06 Touched

6/3/06 Touched

6/9/06 Received 2nd letter from NSC telling me that my case as been transefered

6/14/06 Received 3 emails today saying that CSC has my application

6/15/06 Touched

6/16/06 Touched

6/17/06 Touched again

7/3/06 Received RFE today in mail along with 2 emails

7/3/06 Touched

7/6/06 RFE received in California

7/13/06 Received email saying RFE had been received

7/31/06 Received (3) emails saying my application has been approved

8/1/06 Touched (hopefully that means that my application has been mailed to NVC

8/15/06 NVC mailed application to Bogota

8/25/06 Luisa received Packet 3 from Embasssy!

8/28/06 Luisa hand delivers Packet 3 to Embassy!

9/6/06 Luisa receieved Packet 4 from Embassy

9/18/06 Medical Exams

10/3/06 Interview Date!!!

10/4/06 Have Visa in Hand!!

10/16/06 Return to EEUU

01/06/07 Married..... Now trying to complete the EOS stuff!!!

07/02/07 Green Card Interview, we were approved!! Now we wait for the actual card!!

07/18/07 Recieved Green Card in the mail!! Yippeee!!!

Here is a reply I got from the lawyer today.

Not too encouraging.

At this point all we can do is update and react to their actions. CSC is

stating a 87 day response time to get the petitions forwarded on to the NVC

and then to the embassy once they receive your RFE response. Problem now is

that we have to wait for the RFE to arrive....

Plus no RFE for me.

Well, at least we have tomorrow. One day at a time. All we can do is hope. :thumbs:

kitkat, I hope you get that RFE before you leave. I can only imagine how it weighs on you.

2005: we met online

11-2005: started our relationship online

02-19-2006: Met Liliya in her home city Tashkent, Uzbekistan

03-03-2006: Proposed (day before I left)

04-12-2006: I-129F Sent to NSC

04-17-2006: I-129 NSC received (NOA1)

06-01-2006: I-129F transfer from NSC to CSC

06-02-2006: I-129F CSC must have received I-129F's

07-03-2006: Touched (RFE e-mail notice that it was sent, Received it, Sent it back) all in the same day

07-04-2006: Touched (worked on the 4th of July????)

07-05-2006: Touched (at 9:53am est, little early for CSC hmmmmm)

07-17-2006: Touched (and E-mail saying they have recieved my RFE)

10-21-2006: Touched (hmmmm something wrong with how long it has taken them?)

10-23-2006: Touched (hmmmm maybe my calls once a week to congressmen and senators office helped?)

10-25-2006: Touched at 9:30 est (kinda early for the CSC hmmm, I think they are messing with me now)

looks like they sent the NOA2 on this day

10-28-2006: Received Snail mail for NOA2 on 10-23-2006 (why didn't they update the web site)

11-02-2006: 5 emails saying approved I-129f ???huh??

11-03-2006:

and the waiting continues

That's funny - but I am beyond whining now - super crabby! Just got home, checked the mailbox and NOTHING.

Why are different senators being told different things? And what's up with that 87 day response time? I am NOT waiting 87 friggin more days once I fed ex them the stupid RFE. OK, not that I have a choice. UGH On a better note, my senator's office told me yesterday that if I don't have it by the end of next week (July 7 I believe, then she will call CSC and get it faxed - so she must really believe them).

It's not the end of the world if I don't get it before I leave on Friday since I'll only be gone for 10 days. But I would rest a lot easier if I could take it to fed ex on the way to the airport!!!

Done complaining for now - thank you for listening.
