Can I count this as income?

I am hoping to receive my approval soon and I am looking over the I134. I know that I will need a joint sponsor (I just started working in November 2008) and I have a joint sponsor. But I need to know if my income from SS disability can be counted as part of my income. It is the only income that I have had for the last 12 years and I continue to receive it, and will get it for the next couple of years. My joint sponsor is a retired teacher, so the income is more than enough there, but I would like for my income to be as good as it possibly can be.

You are almost there and now you have to deal with the embassy. This is the place to post your experiences or questions related to this last step before moving to the US. Topics relating to I-134's, packets sent from consulate and medical & police certificates should be posted here.

YMMV

Are you sure you will need a co-sponsor? With just your current income (started in Nov 08) and the SS money, do you make the level needed?

If it does, you do not need a co-sponsor. (you can caculate your annual income).

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
