HEY!!!! WE GOT OUR DATE!!! BUT, the darn date is two days before I go to Jamaica for the summer. This kinda sucks because I really, really wanted to be there. Do you think this will look bad if I am not there? Our interview date is on June 25th and I fly down on June 27th. I am going to talk to my prinicipal and see if she can let me go, but I doubt it because I don't have any days left....I am still soooo very happy. Now I really cannot sleep.

Can someone let me know if not being there with my hubby is going to be a bad idea. I already bought my ticket, but I will gladly pay extra.

OMG

Congrats! Hopefully your boss will let you go - but plenty of others have made it through without their hubby - you could try emailing the embassy to see if they can move it to while you are there - if you can't - just make sure hubby has all the answers and is well prepared.

I didn't go to the interview with my husband and he got through perfectly fine...they only looked at our pictures and asked him a couple of questions:

When we met

When did we get engaged (he told her we never did the engagement thing just started planning on getting married)

When did you get married

Do we have any kids together

Were either one of us ever married before

He answered them and the CO stamped a piece of paper with the date and told him to pay for his visa delivery...Just tell your hubby to be comfortable and answer the questions with confidence...there should be no problems...:dance: CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!

Try; but if not, don't stress.

Look at it this way, you will be there to bring him back with you then.

Congrats!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast
