what will i bring to US other than clothes :D

thank you

What are your hobbies and interests? Bring those stuff.... I brought my favorite books, my training manuals, my recipe books, my photo albums, my external Hard drive and papers needed for AOS.

I regretted bringing my clothes here. I should have listened to my hubby. Shopping here is more fun!

This may seem a bit corny, and maybe a bit risky, but when I traveled to Phils to escort my asawa to the USA two years ago, I brought with me two very small tightly sealed containers. The evening before my asawa and I left we collected a small amount of soil from the garden at her home and also a small amount of water from her well. These containers were sealed and taped and shoved into our checked bags.

She has a tiny piece of her home here, a connection of sorts to her native land. But here's the part that still makes me misty eyed - we used a small amount of that water in the baptism of our daughter last September, mixed with the water in the baptismal font in our church, to christen the precious new life that God gave to us, and symbolize the blending of two peoples and cultures.

Otherwise, bring as much as you can carry!! If you'll be living near a larger metro-area, you'll be able to find most anything you need at the local Asian markets, including unique personal care items. Don't forget photos of your family and the addresses and phone numbers of your friends and special people in your life.

Enjoy your journey! The fun begins now....

Maybe bring some family photos (brothers, sisters, parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.).

If you have it, bring your family tree (family genealogy).

Your children and grandchildren will appreciate it.

P.S....Chinook says that if you use birth control pills, it is much cheaper to buy them in the Philippines...so bring a year's supply with you.

Go to PI dentist and get any and all dental repairs needed to be done taken care of in PI.

So much cheaper in PI. It will cost 50,000 pesos in USA.

Get your wisdom teeth pulled in PI, All cavaties filled.

Bring lots of Coach bags. Buy Coach Luggage as your luggage (Carry On and SuitCase)

I brought lots of DVD's with like 25 movies on each DVD.
