While Canadians do not need a visa to VISIT the United States, they do need one to move there. There is no special procedure for Canadians. Yes, YOU will need to fill out the I-129F if you are going for a fiancee visa. Where you live will determine where her interview will be held. Western Canada is Vancouver and Eastern Canada is Montreal.

Good luck.

My fiance is a Canadian citizen, currently Canadians do not need a visa to visit the States. Will we still be required to fill out a K1 or is there a different procedure for Canadians marrying and moving to the States?

Hello Nurodma! Welcome to VJ!

Yes, you're still going to be required to fill out a K-1 Visa, if that's the route you want to go. Please read the Guides at the top of this page to find out about all the family based visas and which one might be good for you.

Whether you're the American in your relationship, or a Canadian, a great place to meet up and ask questions and learn some ins and outs of immigrating to the US from a Canadian perspective is to visit us in the Canada Forum! Here's the link:

As well, there is a VJ Wiki page that will also help you out!

Looking forward to your future postings!
