I fell in love with his sense of humor, his kindness and generosity. He is the best thing that has ever happened in my life and I thank God that we found each other.

Great stories guys!! I fell in love with my MENA man because of his independent nature, maturity, caring heart, and his ability to communicate well with me... I'm so comfortable telling him what I feel and he is just as comfortable expressing himself to me--something I find crucial in any relationship. I fall more and more in love with him everyday... just the little things he does, his understanding. We are overall very compatible (alhamdullilah). To Leyla and Laura, while my hubby and I were apart, when dating or after we were married, music was always one of the major ways in which my husband chose to express himself...something I find beautiful. I have more emails from him with songs attached than with long paragraphs or words.

The first song he sent me was "Bahibak Wahashtiny." That night I listened to it on repeat until I fell asleep :)

By the way... are my Youtube inserts working? Cause I can't see them

I fell in love with my husband because he was pure. A hard find these days.

Ditto - I couldn't have said it better myself.

Besides, how can you not fall in love with a man who sings sappy Nepali love songs and puts your name in them, or (before I had my eye surgery, when we went trekking in the Annapurna region last summer) catches butterflies and holds them gently so you can get a good look at them before he lets them go?

And, he knows how to make roti, and momos....

I am a lucky, lucky woman. :luv:

He is the sweetest, biggest goofball and he has the biggest hands I have ever seen. :innocent: I love him so much and I know he loves me as well. Always asking me, "where are you going?". No one ever treated me this way before. God found me a great man....

awe ur stories are so great.......mines kind of boring.....we matched the traditional/sort of non traditional way profile on muslim matrimonial?

anyways we clicked i agreed to the marraige that was mmm when i was 18 just barley 18 lol

he refused to marry me until i was older we did fight a lot about that in the beginning but now i see the wisdom of it and we have been thru a lot thru this visa process.

i have always felt that u fall deeply in love after marraige and for most couple that match the way that we did is prolly true cuz they dont have the years of hardships before marraige that we have had. we have found each others strengths and weaknesses

i think what made me fall in love with him i always really liked him sounds stupid to most but it was when he sneaked a kiss from me first time ever and fell over back wards in his chair after wards

hmmm, it was not really love at first. It took 8 months for me to even think of him as more than just a friend I talked to alot.

DUHHHHH, I was a little bit slow on the uptake. I go back and look over old messanger conversations and think WTH was I thinking I should have realized he liked me WAY before I did. We dont share alot of music back and forth, or anything like that. We talk about music occasionaly but thats me updating him on the latest hot thing in states and him sending me links for the good Arabian music.

He is a hopeless romantic but you would never know it. I found a stash of Michale Bolton (sp ?) and Celine Dion (sp?) cds in his room he blushed and said ohh i dont know where those came from........... HAHAHA he thinks he is just mr big and mighty, but he doesnt fool me.

I am a freak, I did not know for sure I loved him until the day I was leaving Jordan in October I cried like a baby (after I cleared through the first checkpoint).

I do not ever remember ever being upset that I was leaving someone, not in that way. LOL, this trip I didnt even make it to the airport befor crying. hehe, we had left the citadle and were on the way to the theater and his sisters were in the backseat with us. Jeez, he turned me into a titty baby...............

Its not so bad to know that I love someone more than I care about anything in the world (minus the kiddos that is).

Smiles and sunshine, hearts and stars, kitty cats and rainbows... have a good tuesday

My husband is the greatest person for me, he handles everything, I am barely capable of even getting out of bed. I am really lucky, I hit the lotto with my husband.

he has big feet

oh and he makes me laugh, is super gentle when need be, great with my kids, etc. I remember he was complaining that Megan was leaving trash all over the computer desk one night. The next day when she was on it he came over to her with a bucket and said, "Megan I got you a bucket so now it will be easier to throw your gum wrappers and juice boxes away while you're on the computer!". She was so thrilled and the desk hasn't been messy since. I love that he does things that way instead of yelling or demanding. :luv:
