Speaking of disco, I'm ashamed to admit this, but the first album I ever bought with my allowance money was K-Tel's 1976 "Hit Parade"---and the song I bought it for was "Disco Duck." True, I was only 10 years old---do you think that is a good enough excuse? The suckiosity of New Kids on the Block and the Spice Girls actually kind of pails in comparison.

OMG. K-Tel and Disco Duck all in one sentence. It doesn't get any better than that.

No not really. :hehe:

Disco Duck makes NKOTB and the Spice Girls look good.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Electric Circus was hilarious.

Remember Erica Ehm? I hated her. She was sooo ditzy.

Ohhhh memories! I went to EC one time outside the windows at Much, and was on TV! I was so proud

I miss old much music.

Me too - MTV has way to much mindless dribble

Yeah I was wondering - does MTV even play music videos? Because the channel I get only plays reality TV shows, no actual videos! On Much they play music videos.

Yea one time my cousin and I went to EC and stood outside and Monica Deole was such a snob. But we got ourselves on tv... she asked us what our NYE resolution was and my cousin said: "Marriage" and then she asked me and I said: "To get a boyfriend" and Monica asked: "Anyone in particular?" and I said: "No any guy will do" on national television! Boy did I sound desperate! I was about 14 at the time.

Speaking of Canadian stuff... Anyone ever go to the Camilla Scott show?? I went to one of the tapings.

Your husband must feel so special. :bonk:

Teresa Roncon > Erica Ehm.

Steve Anthony gave Erica a run for the money for biggest doofus.

I used to like watching Test Pattern. The show where they had a Jeopardy like game where you threw bricks through a TV wall and spun your body on a wheel of fortune wheel.

One time I had Muchmusic on when Master T was new there. He had one small clump of hair in the center of his head. My dad walked in the room and said "he looks like he has a lump of s___ on his head." I burst out laughing because when I looked, he really did look like that.

I can't fault Master T though. Him and Bill Wylichka were probably the smartest interviewers. I got a chuckle of Meat Loaf always referring to Master T as "Tony" whenever he'd interview him.

George is a smart puppy - I absolutely love his show on CBC - The Hour. My husband is a total fan now and listens to the podcasts - he has a neat perspective on things and isn't nearly as stodgy as some CBC programming.

Gawd - I forgot about the Camilla Scott show until now - ooooh, how's about Dini Petty hmm?????????

Wiz(USC) and Udella(Cdn & USC!)

He does feel special. :P

And that was 16 years ago... stupidity is allowed when one is a teenager.

Omg funny story about Master T... I was walking out of the 360 from a show and Master T was walking by and I was kind of drunk and yelled out: MISTER T!

Mister T??
