Cover Letter

For my cover letter, I just used the example form and filled in the proper blanks. Ive read people's posts on here stating that you only need proof of meeting during the last 2 years for the i129f you send in. The proof of ongoing relationship only needs to be attatched to the packet that my fiancee takes to the interview, correct? Or is it wise just to include evidence of relationship in the packet we send in too?

Also for down the road.. Could my fiancee take entire photo albums to the interview? We have several of them jam packed and if they saw the pictures we have, they would know for certain are relationship is genuine.

How many people here copy the forms as they are and just fill in the blanks? Do you think they may think its a tad weird seeing the same cover letter and letters of intent over and over with only the personal info differing? lol just a thought.

You may want to read the guides.

When submitting the I-129F, you are to submit proof of meeting in the past two years with it. Still bring proof to your interview, such as the photos your fiancee has in her album amongst other stuff, but make sure to include, ticket stubs, phone bills, pictures...etc with yor I-129F packet.

I pretty much just filled in the blanks with all of my forms as well. As long as the information is valid, and its your signature at the bottom, I doubt they care. Good luck!

bringing photo album is a great & convenient way for a consulate to look at your photos. Don't worry they are not gonna get your album although the may ask for a few photos and then they will return it again when you get your visa.

I included proof of relationship as well. If they don't need it, they can just toss it away. I rather overload them with information than to not send enough and get an RFE and slow down the whole process (even moreeeeee).

We attached to I-129f several different things:3 original photos, copies of my fiance passport showing that he came to my country, plane tickets etc. and I wasn't asked at the interview to present any further proof........

Thanks Guys! youre awesome. :) I wish I had phone bill records but have been using calling cards for the past few years. I recharge it a great deal, I bet I could show this on my bank statement for the interview but theres no way to show who I called. I have loads of emails and some letters though, so I'm not overly concerned.

Does everything have to be in exact order in the contents in regards to supplements?

This part of my contents is listed as:

- G-325A and passport style photo (petitioner)

- G-325A Supplement for Question: Employment last 5 years (petitioner)

- G-325A and passport style photo (Beneficiary)

But I have 4 copies of the supplement page(one for each page of the g-325a), so should I mention that in the contents? Then I was going to put the photo behind the last supplement.

And does everyone use tabs assist for supplements? I dont know, it just seems stupid to put a tabs assist on every other page of the g-325a. Its not like I would get an RFE over something so trivial as that but I dont want them all POed while reading my petition lol..

I just put one tab for both G325A's and photos. I counted it as one section since it was all the same form.

On your phone records prob, I may have a solution for you. I was also wanted a fairly economic way of calling overseas, without buying a new card every time I ran out of minutes, and having a log of all the calls. I have been really happy with www.idt.net , you can buy a calling card and just recharge the same one over and over again. And they have fantastic phone logs. The rates, however are not as great as some other folks, it just depends on the country you are calling. I think its worth the extra 2 or 3 cents to have reliable service and a phone log for proof of relationship.

Is Skype an option for you? It provides a phone log and is free. Or if you can't get it on your computer (although most can) you can get a SkypeOut account and it makes all your calls as though they were local. I printed out my call log.
