Calling USCIS

Can I call the USCIS to see what is the update for my K1? I haven't gotten my noa2 yet and I'm getting anxious! What # do I give them?

You CAN call them, of course! But you wont' get much information. We actually refer to them as the mis-information line. They can provide very little information to you.

you can call but they will not give you any useful information, they gave you the same information that is on the website

They will more than likely tell you your case is processing - that you are within guidelines and to call back if you have not heard anything after 6 months (6 months from your NOA1 date). Typical response.

Your timeline contains your possible adjudication date (May) and it is usually pretty on track.

All the person will do is look up your case status and give you the same information you can get on the USCIS web site.

Note USCIS can take up to 6 months or longer to process.
