K3 or CR1 ???

Hi

I have the I 129 Approval in my hand , still waiting for I 130 approval.

how would i choose between K3 or CR 1 ? i mean how do NVC,Consulate personnel know which am i going to pursue ?

If i want CR1, Do I

1) Just ignore all K3 related correspondence ?

2) Do i do as told by NVC & Consulate ? Then on K3 Interview date tell them about I 130 being approved ?

please share your experience with this matter ?

If you are pursuing CR1 then you just simply ignore all k3 corrospondence from consulate. You dont need to tell consulate anything regarding K3 on your CR1 interview.

i just checked your time line, you got both 129 & 130 approved same time ?

since my i 130 is still pending, how much longer is CR1 vs K3 ?

where do i get the nvc case # ? do i have to call them or is there any page ? i couldnt find any

Never mind,

I just called NVC and my case was already sent to Chennai consulate.

and she couldnt answer about switiching to CR1.. i will try bugging consulate about the details

Any input/views from anyone ?
