Now now th3mo, lol. Must give everyone a break here. Everyone has been pealing off this thread for a while now as they have been getting their final approvals (myself included, sorry...), but I guess that is expected.

It is just SOOOOO GREAT!!!! that everyone on this June thread has finally been approved and hopefully everyone will be, if not already, reunited soon. I am truly happy for everyone and want to thank everyone here for their support through all of this. It has truly been a trial, and yet, I know it is not over for some/most of us. There will be the AOS in 2 years. Hopefully, will see everyone back here and we can create another AOS thread of the "June 2009 Expecting Interview Group". LOL!!!

Good Luck and Best Wishes to all of you and Thank You for all of your support through this, from the bottom of my heart!!! (L)(L)(L)(F)(F)(F)

hi champi,

it says that all persons except us citizens, aliens with immigrant visas and resident aliens, have to fill in that form....

maybe its because since its the first time entering the US on the spouse visa im still not an alien?

and will i be able to travel out the usa after 2 months of entering the US if i still have not received the green card?

Please advice

thanks

Hey Wifey,

Now that you got your visa in your passport, I think you are considered an alien with immigrant visa. I guess you will have to fill out that form.

As for being able to travel out of the USA without GC, yes you can. When you arrive, the immigration officer will put a stamp in your passport and an expiration date (I think 1 year). You can use this to travel outside of the US and come back within the year. I know this for sure because my wife had to go back home before she recieved her GC and she had no problem coming back. But I think we recieved her GC within two months of her arriving here, but she had to go back before then.

Anyway, Good luck and hope to here that you made it to the states soon,
