Th3mo.....any news.....i called DOS and they werent able to give me any info except saying it is under processing ......

theres no news over here we called DOS and they have no info about our case they said its at the embassy have to contact them not the DOS so i did e-mailed them today and as our weekend here in Egypt its Friday so wish to hear from them by Saturday , and we will try to call DOS again to see if still the same or have something new

you welcome and if you still having it take the bills with you without the packet of it just to avoid any problems like my wife did because some times they won`t let you in with it just keep em without the cover and for sure you know what they are , good luck

Hello everyone,

I apologize for being absent for such a long time.. For those who are united with spouses, congratulations and I am sure you can understand the busy-ness. Just updates on my side, we got welcome letter on Monday (7/6) and SS card today (7/9). We did go to SS office the day after POE. Hopefully this will give idea to all who are waiting..

th3mo, atk - I sincerely hope you guys come out of AP soon. I am so very sorry, I wish we could share bit of luck with everyone so those in need can have some.

Feel better soon Eca. If they give you trouble at POE, just say the landing made you sick ;) This is just a blind suggestion. Hope your POE goes smooth..

so my hubby is here im so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!! so i was wondering how long it takes to get SS# and green card???

Ours took about 16 days (including weekends, the day of POE, and the day of SS card arrival in mail).

hey, just tell them you have motion sickness and had couple of vomits in flight and also you have problem with so much of AC so, in full AC yr nose starts running and sneezing. .......... none can question in case of allergy and motion sickness because its common problem . :blush::star:

I just called DOS to get a status on my husband's AP.The lady said "Your husband has been just recently interviewed,the case is forwarded to Washington and it is pending" I asked her when should I check back,she was like Madam you don't have to.I was like,I am curious and worried and would luv to know what is going on and then she was like check back in a few weeks.

Does any one know if they forward all AP cases to Washington?

hi all... got case complete on the 17th as well.... hopefully June will bring us all some luck!! :)

I - 130 case complete on june 25 at the nvc, now waiting on the interview date for the embassey in bogota, colombia, no august appointment , however, expecting a september date

Same thing happened to us. My husband arrived 6/27...we went to the SS office about 2 weeks later, woman said she couldn't find it in the system, we put in an application anyway (she couldn't tell if one had been applied for him already or not)....Last week the social security card arrived on Thursday and his green card arrived on Friday. He received his welcome letter from USCIS (just has a welcome to the US brochure and letter from USCIS with your case # on it) Monday. So it was about 3 weeks...so hang tight, but if its been more than a month I would say call USCIS and see what is going on.
