Does anyone know how much more money we have to pay..if any? Do we need to pay any more fees at the interview time? (technically the beneficiary pays it, but usually petitioner gives them the money)

Just talked to NVC operator and she said the case is forwarded to embassy after the interview is scheduled. So that 17th one is definitely not mine ;) I still it was mine...heheh

Hello all :star: No time to read all 3 pages since my last post. Congrats to those who got case complete or approvals or any kind of good news in case I missed it!

Update: CR1 out of AP :dance: review has resumed once again-now in final stages :) . Hopefully will have case complete by Friday or Monday at the latest!! Fingers crossed once again!! Will most likely get June interview for CR1, let's c if we can move it up to May (likely month of hubby's K3 interview) once we have case completion from NVC.

Hi everyone, just passing by to say I got my case completed today!!! I'm very happy for it, but I got that same answer, they said all interviews for May are done and I should call on the second week of May to get a possible interview for June.

It sucks, but I was prepared for that answer. :)

GS4EVER, I don't think I will be able to flip my K3 interview for my CR1. We are way too close of April 30th and that can only happen if the CR1 case gets to the consulate before the K3 interview happens, and as far as I know the NVC only forward the CR1 process when a date is assigned.

:( I guess I will wait for that June interview now.

I just called again and was told the same thing :( Case is in final stage of completion ,final review.I am not sure what is going on.This is so frustrating .Why would they tell me on 13th that My case was completed .Since then I called NVC 3 or 4 times and every operator told me that my case was completed.My online signon failed on 13th and it is still not working.My AVR still has the checklist message though.

For some reason ,they put me on a hold for a while after I gave them my hubby n my info for both my calls today.I dont think they did that before when I asked them just my case status .This time ,I heard a lady in the back ground telling the guy what to say.

Champi take my name off ur list cuz I dont know what the hell is going with my case and how many ages it is still gonna take????God know how many final reviews my case will have ????All this sucks big time.........Probably another case from a muslim couple stuck at NVC forever

They better not have told me we are out of AP and put us right back in AP :angry: According to NVC our DS 230 and AOS were both accepted so they better not be toying with me cz I don't think I can handle another disappointment :crying:

Yep, I got the same answer. Call back in 3rd week of May to see IF there is an interview scheduled for your case. Feels like a complete waste of month!

I agree about contacting the consulate directly!! That's what I plan to do as soon as I get case complete from NVC. As a matter of fact I will ask if consulate will request for our file to be exedited there in time for K3 interview. I heard many ppl who were able to get that done. Hoping for the same thing :innocent:

GS4EVER, I don't think I will be able to flip my K3 interview for my CR1. We are way too close of April 30th and that can only happen if the CR1 case gets to the consulate before the K3 interview happens, and as far as I know the NVC only forward the CR1 process when a date is assigned.

:( I guess I will wait for that June interview now.

GIXBR, did u try calling consulate directly or emailing to see if they will request for ur file to be sent to them directly from NVC?? If not, u should!! Let me know if u have any luck in doing that. I sure hope u can! That would be awesome! :star:

Atk - don't worry, if they are telling you final review and don't need anything from you, it's probably just fine. My husband is also a Muslim man and I fully expected our review to drag on, but it didn't - our case has flown through both USCIS and NVC. Remember our president has roots in Islam and that didn't stop this country from voting for him. It's 2009, not 2001. Incha'allah your case will be complete this week. :thumbs:

Hi everyone, just passing by to say I got my case completed today!!! I'm very happy for it, but I got that same answer, they said all interviews for May are done and I should call on the second week of May to get a possible interview for June.

It sucks, but I was prepared for that answer. :)

I just called again and was told the same thing :( Case is in final stage of completion ,final review.I am not sure what is going on.This is so frustrating .Why would they tell me on 13th that My case was completed .Since then I called NVC 3 or 4 times and every operator told me that my case was completed.My online signon failed on 13th and it is still not working.My AVR still has the checklist message though.

For some reason ,they put me on a hold for a while after I gave them my hubby n my info for both my calls today.I dont think they did that before when I asked them just my case status .This time ,I heard a lady in the back ground telling the guy what to say.

Champi take my name off ur list cuz I dont know what the hell is going with my case and how many ages it is still gonna take????God know how many final reviews my case will have ????All this sucks big time.........Probably another case from a muslim couple stuck at NVC forever

for my updates I just checked if I can sign in to NVC online payment the good news is "Sign In Failed" that means I'm almost there, I expect my case to be completed in the next 2 days,

the bad news is it still going to be the same situation, as long as the interview will not be scheduled for May, that means we will have to "WAIT AGAIN"
