People don't realise how small Sydney really is. It has just over 3 million people. Its hard to go anywhere in Sydney without bumping into someone you used to go to school with or worked with or friend of a friend etc..

Well I am holding on the taught of a June interview too. Actually I am praying since the embassy in Guyana has already filled all the may interview spaces.

Because I am bored out of my brain, I have been studying timelines of VJers over the past few years. Admittedly I have looked closely at the Aussies but some others as well. It seems to be approx. 6weeks from the date interview is scheduled to the date of the interview. Taking this into consideration and also what the operator told me when I spoke to NVC yesterday and day before, I believe it is highly probable that we get our dates next week. Many have said that they do the scheduling in the first two weeks of the month, but historically some VJers were notified mid to end of month.

There doesn't seem to be any method to the madness, but its a good feeling to have hope!

GS4EVER, it's been a while since your DS230 is under review right? Do you have any updates from talking to one of the operators?

Hey gixbr, thanks for asking. Our CR1 is stuck in AP at NVC. Case complete cannot occur until we are released from AP We are focussing our energy on our K3 which was delivered to consulate this morning at 9:58 a.m. So hubby should be called to come get his interview packet next week and we should soon have an interview date for K3. We then plan to hopefully be able to flip it for CR1 (provided CR1 is out of AP in time for K3 interview )

Case completed on 4/10. Guess I'm waiting for June interview as well :-)

By the way, I forgot to mention that I asked the NVC operator if I can go to my medical now that my case is complete and she insisted NO! She said I had to wait for interview! What difference does it make and how come some people go before hand and nothing is wrong with that? I called the civil doctor in Sydney a few weeks ago and he said I can come in anytime and that I don't have to wait! Who do you believe?????

It's all up to the consulate. Some doctors won't agree to give you the exam without an interview letter from the consulate. NVC has nothing to do with the medical. Once ur case is complete, it is now in the consulate's hands not NVC.

It's amazing how much information you can find, only you've to look. Just found out that our Embassy had holidays on April 10th and 14th. No more US or India holidays till May 25th :D (now they don't have any excuse to delay visa interview scheduling )

at last i m here... talked with operator yesterday . though my case is not complete yet.. its been 5 days now .. hope this time i wont get an RFE... the operator said Give us 2-4 weeks then we'll assign interview date once case is complete. but u cant get date in may..... ... so it will be june... and i m in thread in advance ....lol....... before my case completion ..
