By the looks of it , I think you are ok with going to the Apollo clinic in Surat if its the same one listed. But just to be sure you should call or email the consulate and ask.

hey K.D., i think they tell us on the interview letter about medical..but i think they should be able to use any consulate approved doctor... they inform us about 6 weeks before interview...that is what it says on website....but they dont do anything according to protocol..because everything is usually 6-7 weeks and they have been doing things well before that u know?

the wait is unbearable!!! now just hoping tht we will get interview in early june....

but i hv a question, my case will come in mumbai consulate ... and wht about medical? can we choose the place or its fixed written in letter...

and they inform us abt interview before one month i guess.. if so... then how can they inform us on 15 th may tht yr interview is on 1st june???

actually, i want to go for medical in surat... i just know thrs apollo clinic which is approved by consulate... and my case is going to mumbai consulate... so is it necessary to go for medical in mumbai????.........

Yeah Same here, I am only going to try on may 1st or if I hear that someone else got their date all set.

So how is the waiting going... It's only been eight days and I'm starting to go a little nutty again. I was so patient for the first week. Then once I called the NVCfor an update yesterday that was eat. I can't think about anything else!

Thanks Ben and Ash :) Unfortunately, I am not going to be there with him because I am saving my vacation days so I use those them to help him adjust here in US. I only get 3 weeks and I've already used up about 1 week so far...

I didn't ask when it will be shipped. The first thing I want to do is call back again sometime this evening and double-verify that the date is set. I'll ask more details about when it was shipped and stuff (by then my excitement will be under control). She did say something about mail/email stuff but frankly, I got lil overwhelmed and missed the info.
