I filed for my 751 waiver in oct 2007.It transfered from Texas to CSA in oct 2007.Fingerprints were in Nov 2007.I had not heard anything since, no ,"touches", no emails, nothing.I survived on I551 stamp on my passport.

Finally today, after many months of waiting, I got my Green card.I had already submitted my N400 as I recently became eligible for citizenship based on 5 yrs of PR.

To all the people with 751 waivers out there, don't loose hope. You ll get your card.I couldn't find much info online on waivers, I guess coz very few people file them .

Thank you Jesus!!

 18 months?! I don't think I can wait that long. If VSC can't make the target goal of 6 months after pawning out 80,000 I-751 cases to CSC, I'm writing to senator no matter what. Who lives in Texas want to write a join letter with me? That's if VSC really can't make the 6 months promise.

Also wonder where did they dig up your file and what is it doing on IO's desk/dusty shelf waiting so long? Seems like the submitting N400 pushed them around to collect your A-file for them to prepare your local office naturalization interview, which is a good thing, that means at least they found your file. Should be fresh out for them, hmm...... more like fished out from the bottom of the pond.

Yes, I believe filing the N400 made them retrieve my file from the pond.It seems the waiver was approved a few days after I filed the N400.My N400 went to Lee's Summit ,MO.751 was in CSC.strange how uscis is just sitting on some files. My lawyer had made several enquires, but their answer is usually, well, even if we show a processing time of 6 months, we have a small number of cases pending longer than that

Just don't understanf how can they sit on some files and not give a decision. Well... you got evidence, they can't deny you, so I was only thinking either RFE or interview, now that I learnt they can sit on files like they're seat cushions.:devil: Sucks!!! I'm going to file N400 next year, bet they won't be sitting on mine too long! Should ask them for a $545 refund. ;)

congrats machozi, that wait was long. waivers have very varied time line anywhere from 3 months to 3 years ( one case 3 years and still pending).

Anyways when did your conditional green card expire?

Congrats machozi!

WOW, talk about delay in processing. I thought CSC was always fast may i was wrong which seems like it. I am glad that finally got your GC which will be no good since you will be naturalized soon, so CSC should refund you your money.

Good Luck on rest of your journey.

Congratulations!!!!!! I too was a waiver filer and got approved after 6 months or so and recently became a USC.. Although I may say, it varies, you've waited long enough and that is something to cheer about, finally getting your unconditional card. I suggest you keep records of your I-751 in hand as these might be asked of you on your N400 interview. Best of luck!
