My husbands case is complete with out any RFE's! It's sucha big deal for me because I was compiling all the documents and I was scared we might get held back for silly things. All worked out, not it's just him and the Embassy in Dhaka.

I've heard they're not very nice and always having people go back and forth. Has anyone dealt with the Consulate in Dhaka lately? Any help would be highly appreciated.

My concern now is, they mentioned the case was complete but no official date for the interview. So, my question does anyone know how many days before they can give me a date.

01/30/2008: Received NOA 1.

04/25/2008: I-130 APPROVED.

06/04/2008: Came to know about Visa Journey.com.

07/02/2008: CASE COMPLETED.

07/14/2008: Case transferred to Mumbai.

08/27/2008: Interview - Visa Approved

09/03/2008: POE-Chicago

09/04/2008: Applied for SSN

09/11/2008: Received SSN

10/27/2008: Received "Welcome Letter"

11/04/2008: USCIS mailed the approval notice

11/06/2008: Green Card Received !!!

<not pursuing I-129F petition further but NVC forwarded case to Consulate on 02/24/2009>

02/19/2009: NVC Received/Case number assigned for I-130

02/20/2009: DS-3032 sent by e-mail and 03/04/2009: DS-3032 sent by regular mail

02/26/2009: NVC received DS-3032 Choice of Agent selection

02/26/2009: DS-3032 accepted and AOS Bill Generated but not IV Bill

02/28/2009: AOS Bill Package received in mail

oh gosh, you're going to hate me! I'm sorry, I should have mentioned it was complete ten days after they scanned the DS230.

Gosh, I feel stupid sorry!

I'm going through going to school full-time and working full-time and haven't had time update my profile...insha'allah I will

ahh this wait is driving me crazy!

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)
