My hubby and I got married in Singapore. I'm a permanent resident here but i still choose Philippines for my Interview. Hope someone can help me with my few questions. Thanks in advance.

1. Do I still need to get Marriage Certificate in Philippines? The one we passed in our package is our Marriage Certificate we got here in Singapore although we registered our marriage in Embassy of Philippines here.

2. How about NBI certificate? Do i need to update it and get one?

3. Can someone please advise the requirements needed for an interview?

Thanks in Advance.

Thank you MMW.

I don't have idea what are CENMAR and PCC. I need to research.HOw long it will take me to get this two requirements CENMAR and PCC so I check how long should I stay in Philippines to get these requirements. For Marriage Certificate I think you can do it online and they'll just deliver it to your place and for NBI a day before you can get one ... Long queue as usual. THanks again in advance

hello! here's my 2-cents worth opinion:

(1) if you are a PR here in singapore then you should have chosen us embassy singapore for your interview. they accommodate PRs, people with valid working & student visas;

(2) if you are already married then i don't think you need to produce the CENOMAR or certificate of no marriage as this is only for k1 visa applicants. if you are doing k3, then you may wish to check the required documents you would need to submit.

(3) since you are a permanent resident of singapore, you will be required to produce a police clearance, which is the certificate of no criminal record that the singapore police force will issue. you can only get this if you can produce the letter/instruction from the embassy. it takes 14 days to process if you personally applied for it here in singapore and the fee is 45 sgd payable by nets, cash card or credit card. you will need to bring with you 2 passport pix. you may wish to check this link for the details -- http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/cert_issued.htm

(4) the nbi clearance for travel overseas is valid for 1 year from date of issuance. if you have an old nbi clearance, you just go to the satellite office (usually you can find this in the malls), show them your old nbi clearance and they can issue you a new one. pati nga pamunas ng finger print at envelope for your clearance bibigyan ka at a price of course. income generating project ba. :-)

(5) i am not sure what other requirements you would need for the interview but for k1, bring along your birth cert, the forms you received in packet 3 (and that would include the affidavit of support from the petitioner) and proofs of ongoing relationship like phone bills, emails, pictures, letters, etc. including the documents that the petitioner submitted in the US.

(6) i think you would also need to have the medical examination done before the interview.

(7) and most important, don't forget your confidence! good luck!
