Tried searching forums, did not find much on the topic and I was wandering if anyone has had similiar experience. My fiance is in China and will eventually after the long wait will have to interview there. THe problem I foresee is she speaks almost no english. I speak pretty good chinese, everytime I am there people tell me I sound like a native speaker so we have no language issues in our relationship but will her lack of english skills hurt her in the interview process?

Any help appreciated, and I am glad I found this site, the people here are wealth of information.

No, it will not hurt. They will offer her interview in Chinese and ask her how she communicates with you. Sounds like you got that covered. There is no "requirement" you both speak the same language, of course, but it helps that you have some way to communicate when trying to prove a legitimate relationship

from now on, have her take English courses, so show the VO that she is actually trying to learn our language. it is possible to take the interview in Chinese but for just incase, have her learn English...

one more thing, if you havn't already, you should join this site. http://candleforlove.com this site is like VJ but for China only. it has alot of good information to prepare you.
