Just got the NOA2, whats next?

Greetings!

I just received the NOA2 for our CR-1 process. Just wondering do I just wait till NVC sends me the package and how long does that usually take?

mostly 1 month or less

USAR

Oct.8 2009 - arrived in USA (CR1 visa)

Nov. 2009 -- GC for 2 yrs received

Jan. 2010 -- DL issued

May. 2011 --- graduated for my bachelor degree

Sept. 1, 2011 --- Driver License Renewed ( till 2017)

NO removal condition

Citizenship

Oct. 2011-------- Filed N400

Jan. 2012 ------ Biometrics and Interviewed at same time

Jan. 17 2012 ---- Sworn In

03/14/2009...NOA2 (92 days from NOA1)

03/24/2009...NOA2 Hard copy received (No touches or web approval)

NVC

04/06/2009...Received by NVC (23 days from NOA2)

Congrats on NOA 2 Post a time line for others to see your times please. Go to WIKI, "above" click, press on NVC and there are the shortcuts. Great information to help you breeze thru NVC and tells you the docs you need for NVC.

I second that! The shortcuts are a fantastic resource. :thumbs: Read them at least 20 times. They may seem confusing and overwhelming at first (at least they were to me), but once things get underway (and they do FAST), it all makes sense and shaves weeks off the NVC stage. As soon as you get your NVC case number (call the AVR every day), speak to a rep and give them your email addresses - you'll get everything emailed to you so you don't have to wait for snail mail.
