Hi,

I have some question again for my I751:

1. Do we need to send personal check for filling fee or need to send a draft?

2. Do we need to send one check(filling fee and biometric fee included) or 2 separate check( one for filling and other for Biometrics)

3. Do we need to send any financial support document?

Thanks

We sent personal check as it made it easier to track down when they actually cash it.

We only sent one check for $545 with my A# in the memo - to U.S. Department of Homeland Security

What do you mean financial support documents? They ask for proof of co-mingling of assets so we sent them statements from our joint checking account.

1. You can send personal check.

2. You can send one check for filling fee and biometrics fee included.

3. You don't need to send any financial support document, that is if you mean "Affidavit of Support". However, you need to send documents showing that you share financial responsibilities with your spouse such as joint tax returns, joint bank account statements, joint credit card statements, loans, joint bills, etc.

Good luck

First, go to My Assistant above and fill in your Timeline.

Second, read the instructions for completing the I-751. It should answer your questions.

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-751instr.pdf

You may submit one check or money order for both the application and biometric fees, for a total of $545.00.

If you have any questions after reading the Instructions, ask us.

Thanks and have a good day.
