Does anyone else find themselves referring to their fiance/husband as their "SO" when talking to people offline (coworkers, friends, family)? I'm so used to saying that on here that sometimes I'll use the term "SO" when talking to someone outside of VJ... I get this look every time: :huh:

lol...that's funny.

I don't like using the term SO even before we were married I just like calling him by his name....Michael.....BUT, that causes the same look because my x-husbands name is Michael also!... :blink: ok, so I have a bad memory and I didn't want to have to remember another name!!!! :blush: ....just kidding :P

02-22-2010: AOS/DS3032 email received by NVC

02-22-2010: AOS $70 bill paid

02-22-2010: DS3032 Hardcopy Fedx

02-23-2010: DS3032 received signed for by K.STLAURENT

03-04-2010: DS3032 accepted and system updated

03-04-2010: paid IV bill

took a long time to send in ppwk due to husband's birth certificate delay :(

got birth certificate FINALLY!!!

didn't keep good records...sent in the ppwk and got a RFE for copy of passport

06-24-2010: NVC received the form I forgot to send ...oops

08-02-2010: still waiting on a case complete.....ughhhhh

08-10-2010: 2nd RFE for an updated police record-although the one we have was dated 4 months ago......ughhhhhhh

09-01-2010: NVC received checklist letter with a new police report..

09-23-2010: case complete FINALLY

11-12-2010: Interview-blue slip, need of a co-sponsor & petitioner at interview

12-07-2010: Petitioner interview w/co-sponsor paperwork

oh rox...seriously ! i did my worst in my winter semester in school...let me tell u

Kimmy, I am the same this semester - can't get motivated, don't want to do the work :cry:

Kimmy this winter was bad for me too, I have had bronchitis for the last 3 mos. So I have not been 100% well, and then when I was in jA I can down sick with the flu. S I am so tired of being sick too.

Sorry you aren't feeling well, Roxcie - I can relate - I feel like I just start to feel better and I get sick again - I am so fed up. You should try some of the traditional medicinal teas = they have a cough control one and a breathe easy one = they really really help. I tried your honey remedy the other night and it did help some.

Sus, your dress looks really pretty! Are you getting married on the beach in Jamaica? It's nice that you have a dress maker that can fit it right to you.

The dress is ivory, straight and long - here are pics from my phone, but bad lighting so it doesn't look that great -

I am going to my dressmaker today - I might see about having her take the straps off or put different ones on, and it needs to be taken in a bit.

Sus - Love the dress. How long is it? Mid length or all the way down. You will look regal in it!

Ells - Please tell me to shut up if you have already done this, but have you sent an email to the Consular address also? I always received a prompt response one way or another with that address instead of the form response you receive from the other one. This is the email address for the Consular: consularkingst@state.gov

LOL, thanks for the compliment Dada - But it needs to be taken in in the bust, not an area to be lacking in, lol!

Shaun'sgal - the dress is full length - it's perfect length that I can either wear a little heel or go barefoot / flipflops,

Congrats Justucia... You really are moving on up girl. Try not to think about the process and before you know it everything is over and he's here. Enjoy your bed alone. My hubby is going to Florida on Wednesday to visit his brother for almost three weeks and I can't wait to lay sideways acoss the bed. LMAO I will miss him though :blush:

I'm trying to hang in there...but I miss him so much. He is calling me about 20 times a day too...I guess he is missing me just as much. I can't believe it has been 8 long months already. I'm usually there every 3-4 months. This wouldn't be so hard if I could travel.
