Thompson did you e-mail the embassy yet?

Funny you should ask. I emailed them today asking for a Tuesday appt and really pushed it by saying May 5th would be the best. I was shocked when I received a reply two hours later saying May 5th at 1:30pm.

You're kidding! That's fantastic news. I would've been shocked as well. Hmm. Now I know what to try when I get approved this week (I claim it!).

Morning ya'll!!

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration will cancel scheduled appointments for 8,000 immigrants applying for driver's licenses and has stopped booking them in advance of a new law that will curtail driving privileges for illegal immigrants starting June 1.

Every driver in the state will be affected by the change by having to present a Social Security card or other proof that they are in the country legally to get a license.

As news of the measure -- passed in the final hour of the General Assembly session Monday -- coursed through the immigrant community, officials mobilized to change computer programs and launch a public information campaign. The current system has allowed hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants to drive but has made Maryland vulnerable to fraud by out-of-state motorists.

Illegal immigrants who have licenses can renew them once for a driving permit before they are cut off July 1, 2015, a date set in a compromise bill muscled through the House of Delegates and the more conservative Senate. The permit will not provide access to federal buildings or commercial airplanes.

Hi, JaEnglish!

For those of you who already got the police record, did you have to bring 2 passport sized photos? It says so on the website, but I just got off the phone with a guy who works there and he said to bring a passport, TRN, and the $$ to that office, then go to Duke St for fingerprints. He didn't mention passport photos.

When I got mine I needed two!

Better safe than sorry, take them!

yeah i see that and its great cuz my friends try to understand but they dont get it ..

Just go with my favorite quote if you haven't experienced it you'll never understand it so don't try and push it. Its crazy but I am closer to some of the girls on VJ (newelynluv and rick ross) when it comes to this matter more than people I have been friends with for years. Just because they are going through it so they can relate where as my friends and family think I have gone MAD. I gave up on trying to get them to understand it. I figure I'm a grown rass woman who has to live my life for me and if you don’t understand it fine. I keep them updated on what's going on and leave it at that. When we finally decide to get married I don’t even plan on telling them about it. They'll just get a e-mail or invite in the mail. Be there or be square!!!
