I didnt get nervous about getting married until the moment that my husband and I stood in front of everyone and recited our vows. I could FEEL rollercoasters in my stomach and I had to concentrate on breathing and tried to hold tears back. And then it was over, he kissed me, and now its forever... :o LOL!

Finally married... and still married... ;)

Ali I LOVE that dress!! It's gorgeous! Can I ask what brand/designer that is? It's very similar to what I'd like to get.

I'm going dress shopping Feb 13. Can't wait!

It's an Allure Exclusive Edition, style 2218. I love Allure dresses, they are nice quality and you can get them super cheap! In store the dress is over $900 ... I bought it online for half as much. A great deal!

Lovely wedding dresses for all of you lovely brides!! And wow on honeymoon places!! I'm so glad we went to Williamsburg VA. We got a great deal on one of those cabin/condo style places. Actually they're time shares but we're not buying...

All this talk about weddings, makes me want to do another one in Canada... None of my family were able to make it to the wedding here. I really don't think Tim would go for it, though. It was hard enough planning a wedding with me so far away..

I love your dress, Bern!

Ahhhh geezus. I just looked at the price on db's website for that gown. It's $249 now!!! I paid $500 more for it.

I've been known to take the item and the receipt to the place of purchase and ask for a refund of the difference. If they've refused I have told them I would like to return the item, and then I buy it at the sale price. :)

We're probably not going to go on a honeymoon until I get my green card and we're able to save up some money.

We'd like to do a cruise around Hawaii instead of having to fly there and stay there. Cruises are fun.

I'm that type of person too, HOWEVER, I bought the dress back in June. After my very first visit to Canada to see Mathew, my mom picked me up at the airport and we went dress shopping. I tried on about 15 dress, most of which I loved, and then I tried MY dress on. And I started crying. I knew that was the dress for me.

I wasn't ready to commit to buy it or anything since the wedding was over a year away, and the salesgirl was fine with that. But when I got home a few hours later I had a message on my machine from the store manager saying that my dress was one that they had put out for discontinuation. At first I thought it was just to make a sale, but I called stores in other states and they confirmed that it was true.

I guess I should have asked if they discontinued it for STORE ONLY or if it would still be available online. My bad!!!

But now that I think about it, they may have only discontinued it in the Davids Bridal Women collection. I have this problem where I've got quite a bit of boobage and a small waist. So I'd find dresses that would fit me in the middle, but would never ever fit me at the bust. The only collection I found that I can wear comfortably is the DB Women collection.

Maybe that's it. Yeah.

Actually I had thought of that...something REALLY small..

The funny thing is, next time I'm in Canada will be later this year in October when my son gets married. I wonder if he'd go for a double wedding? ^_^

He won't...it's ok. We'll just maybe do something the NEXT time we're there. I'm hoping we could go during the summer of 2011. Summers there can be so nice! Maybe we can plan something for then. Hmmmmm

You all got me thinking now.... :D
