Did you hear about the blonde who was in Tim Hortons? She rolled up the rim on her coffee cup then started to jump up and down shouting "I've won a motor home! I've won a motor home!".

The manager of the store came out, perplexed. He said "Madam, you can't have won a motor home. We aren't giving away a motor home. We are giving away bikes and tents but no motor homes".

The blonde shouted out excitedly "I did! I did win a motor home! It says so right here!" and show him the rolled up rim.

The manager takes it and looks at it "See," she says, "Win a bagel!".

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I've won nothing this year, but I guess I've only really had like 5 or 6 beverages there since it started.

I actually don't really like Tim Hortons coffee so I barely get it and won't miss it!

I do love their donuts though. They are sooooooooo much better than Dunkin Donuts.

I was back in Sasaktoon in Early march for about a week and a half, i averaged 2 XL coffees a day, sometimes 3 or 4, and I NEVER won a thing!!! On one of the rounds were I bought coffee for my folks, they won a donut! SO i paid for about 40 coffees, and only wont that damn donut!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I rarely have Tim Hortons.

My boss bought me one once and I won off of it, haha.

Otherwise, I just don't bother.

I think it's a scam, I've never heard of anyone actually winning a car or anything large on roll up the rim.

No, I never liked Roll up the Rim.

1) I would order a coffee to drink in the store. So they would give me the coffee in a mug and then give me an empty plastic cup to roll up the rim. After that, it would go straight in the garbage. What a waste of plastic.

2) I think I won one doughnut once.

3) People in BC never win the major prizes. All the big dollar items go to people in Ontario. Tim Hortons did this on purpose.
