pri,

I am reading in my packet 3 checklist for item 10: "all documents not in english, or in the official language of the country in which the application for a visa is being made, must be accompagnied by certified translations."

So therefore I am in France, applying to the US consulate in France and french is the official language so I thought I didn't need any translation when the docs are already provided in French.

The US consulate doesn't care about this item 10?

Ha,

I haven't checked the price yet. I had just a friend that did some translation from english to french and he payed like 110 dollars for one doc!

Maybe there is some inflation going here, I have no idea

You must have the French copy as well as a translated English copy of all documents. Good luck.
