Moving this to the Latin America, Mexico & Caribbean sub-forum for replies.

And if you're going through London, a police certificate is required for any country you have lived in for 12 months or more with the exclusion of the country of your birth (for which it drops down to 6 months). I don't know your specific circumstances, but this may obviate the need for a police certificate.

Ok, im a bit confused cause i have been told different information, so these are my circumstances. Was born in Germany and lived there til i was 7 (have been informed on here i wouldnt need a police check as i was under 16, then lived in England until i was 20, moved to the Cayman Islands for 9 months and moved back to England.

So are you saying that i will only need a police check for England? Where do you find all this info out?

Thanks
