I have a question for people that email the frankfurt consulat before.

I emailed them weeks ago from my normal email account and never gotten response to my question. Today i tried again but i send the email from the usembassy website ( that form u can fill at the immigrant visa section). Today i got an email saying they received my email and it will be answered soon. But i never gotten this email when i emailed from my account.

So is it normal not to get it if u send from ur personal account? Or maybe they never received my first one?

Sorry but i dont know how to edit the post.

To make a long story short. Did u receive that automated email too when u wrote from ur personal account?

Or did they delete my first on cause i forgot to put case number and full name in the subjectline? The automated email i got today said u should do so.

I emailed them 2 or 3 times from my personal account while my K1 was pending and I always got a direct response from them.

That automated email is probably linked through the website, I never got it.

Just wait a week and see what they will tell you (I never waited longer than a week for the answers, although I have to say they were pretty standard though, nothing that wasn't stated in the guides or so...).

Have you tried asking your question here?

I didnt get the autoresponse the first time i emailed and of course no answer from frankfurt.

The second time i emailed i got the autoresponse and an answer from the consulat within hours. Maybe the email got lost somewhere in the system. Or they shut it off on weekends so the account wont load up with too many questions, cause the first time i wrote was a sunday.
