What exactly is involved in the medical exam for women with a K1 visa?

If you had it in Brasil, references for a good doctor would be great.

Thanks.

Depends on the consulate. In Kiev, relatively simple, chest x-ray, blood tests, pregnancy test and general looking over. You get the results same afternoon in Kiev. Post this question in the regional forum and you may get better answers. It is my understanding they do conduct drug tests at all medical exams.

I'm not so sure about the drugs tests, at least in London anyway.

I think that would be the sort of thing you'd have to get permission for, and I know people with past drug/alcohol problems have to have additional blood tests at the medical.

I think she has to have an exam with the gyno. My husband's physical exam was in RJ and it was very basic - he had to show his blood tests and x-rays. The doctor asked him basic questions and checked his weight. It was a quick exam.
