Update! Got my biometrics today, only took fingerprints. The employees were so nice, even joking around a bit and in good moods! The woman told me my prints weren't that good, worn and had little cuts in them?? She called them "highways", very strange because I had prints taken last year for I-90 and they were ok. I hope FBI accepts them.

Anyway, so what happened is they wouldn't let us into the office until exactly 8am and a lot of people had the 8am appt so we were all herded around the door waiting until they let us in. After they let us in and checked out IDs/greencards/appt letter, the guard gave us a paper to fill out then turn back into him and wait. Then a lady called us into a second waiting room where only applicants were admitted. We were given a number and someone had put "The Little Mermaid" in the VCR, LOL. Then you got your prints taken when your number was called. After that, they asked if we would please fill out a comment card, where I gave them a glowing review then left. :dance::dance:

Oh yea, forgot to say they gave me the "Civic Quick Lessons" booklet that came with a cd.

Congrats mrAnn, I had almost the exact same experience, but since my apt was the 28 at 3pm, it was dead at the asc and I didn't have to wait. The lady told me that my prints were very good (some people had to do the ink thingy and I felt bad for them). Oh got the booklet with cd as well, now time to learn to read and write "we pay taxes" :whistle:

I called USCIS today. I was told they have scheduled my interview for July 15! It is incredible how fast this is going! I had my biometrics appointment just a week ago! I will post when I receive the actual interview letter. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I called USCIS today. I was told they have scheduled my interview for July 15! It is incredible how fast this is going! I had my biometrics appointment just a week ago! I will post when I receive the actual interview letter. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I just found out that my interview is on the 16th of June, not in July. Unfortunately, I won't be eligible for the oath in June yet.

That's too bad but at least you'll get your interview over with :dance::dance:

I got a letter for a redo on my finger prints for the 6/9, took them originally on 5/19. For some reason the FBI couldn't use em for their check. I was fortunate that the St Paul ASC let me do the re-take today. Has anyone else had to do the FP more than once? for what reasons?

I sure hope I get an interview sometime this summer.

Good luck to all who received speedy services from USCIS. I still don't get any positive info from the customer service number. How are you folks getting your interivew dates from them when you call there?

Sorry to hear that RDan, I agree that u r lucky that the st Paul asc let you do a "second" walkin. Did they tell you why it was rejected by the fbi? usually when u do fingerprint, there is a score treshold that pops up when u do the prints on the machine? Do you remember what kind of score you were getting during the first and second fingerprints?

I have no clue why I had to do Fingerprints again. Never heard of a score threshold.. I dont think I have an clone hanging out in the USA. But the guard said if the prints get rejected again. I would have to go to a Police precenct and do a manual ink Fingerprints.. I have 3 prior biometrics, one in the Philippines, one for my temp residency in St Paul, and another one last year for the AOS... I don't think my prints have changed.. hehehehe. USCIS is just milking all of us.. and the bad think about it is they make us wait.. hahahaha...
