Jauque,

Hey, how's my hometown doing over there by the way? I sure miss it in Alberta...the smell of the air as soon as you walk off the plane...OMG...i wish i could bottle that! This little lady lives where I used to live..and my family and friends are still there....and then I had to go leave and marry a yank 16 years ago! LOL....Jauque, I've always missed the eggrolls in that town....the IGA grocery store by the Prairie Mall....Boston Pizza....Hawkins Cheezies...OMG.....you should phone up my best friend in GP and meet up for coffee....funny how small the world really is....that you live there too....

Anyways, ttyl....try to get rid of this damn stress headache....damn immigration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehe.

GRATZ Chaz!!! :dancing:

I remember when I was young and the micro-kitchen at the IGA had the best egg rolls ever but they don't make them anymore, I think aside from salads and fried chicken the kitchen is closed there. I was thinking about that last night too, My fiance talks about how the air here in the country smells like the wild roses and spruce trees, but I don't smell it. But by the same token I think that Kansas smells pretty fantastic, maybe in a few years when my nose is used to Kansas I'll get to appreciate being here more. It is a crazy small world!!

Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is doing good. Seems like things are moving along for most everyone here still so that is good.

Well I sent the RFE response back over night on monday and they received and signed for it yesterday morning at 10 am ... so I wonder how long it will take them to approve our petition now sigh ...

To answer a few questions I read before .... Jenelyn and I met in person in the Philippines the last time March and April of this year ... so they weren't asking for proof of us meeting in another country ... I just think the RFE we got was just a "canned" response is all ... I am pretty sure they were just looking for the passport and entry/exit stamps solidifying the fact we were together in person in the past 2 years ... I really wish I would of read here more before I sent in the petition I am almost sure we would be almost scheduling our interview right now ... but I guess there isn't anything her and I can do at this point other than wait wait more ...

Allie - Good luck, don't stress to much .. the majority of petitions go through NVC quickly from what I have seen.

Ian and Lisa - I really hope you guys get out of AP this week !

Attaya - Thats a bummer about the doctor ... but I would think the crabby girl was having a bad day and I would expect the doctor to get back to you fairly soon.

Grats to the May filers posting here with NOA2 approvals :P

Sorry guys I'm not on here much right now... but hope everyone who is delayed gets moving quickly!

Apparently NVC sent our case to Montreal on the 17th (so they say), and I checked the DHL which said it actually shipped yesterday, the 18th, and there was a package received today in Montreal, which I'll assume is ours. However, Montreal is a really busy consulate, so I still think I'm at a bit of a stand still, because they're taking a LONG time to schedule interviews, so I'll still be surprised if I get one before November/December to be honest. I'm still worried I won't get there before January :(

For my timeline, should I put the 17th, or the 18th as the date it left NVC? I don't see anyone else to Montreal in the last couple days

Tracking DHL is a crapshoot... one couple were following a package that left the day after the NVC said it was sent (none left that day) and the P3 arrived before that package ever got to the consulate! But, it is something to do while playing the waiting game. The date of NVC out is the date they tell you it left because that is the date of record.

Thanks.

DHL is frustrating because there's no way to tell specifically that it was mine, I can only assume. It does say that it was signed for today in Montreal though, with the name of the person who signed. I called Montreal to check, and their menu specifically said that they won't tell you if they received it or not, and basically we just have to wait for Packet 3. Figures. I'm not even in Canada for another 2 weeks, so I'm sure that will delay it a bit, if there's a packet 3 sitting waiting for me. I wish I had been put in AP and not the rest of you guys who have... My fiance hasn't even started gathering his financial support information yet, so I'm sure I'll end up having to wait on him for that. But hey, they estimate a 5-7 month wait for an interview, so what's the hurry.

No "pins and needles" inflicted :( The doctor took his paperwork and said he'd call him back with the date for his vaccinations and the date that he could pick up the paperwork necessary to schedule the interview date. Hoping it happens sooner than later. I was really hoping to be over there within the next two weeks.

ashenflowers-glad to hear you didn't get stuck in AP! Hope you get your interview ASAP.

Good luck to everyone!

Stats here say 89 days from NVC in and interview.

True, and I supposed the stats are a bit of a better estimate, rather than the 'worst case scenario' as projected by the consulate.

Oh heck yeah. My guy in China sez our P3 will come within the month (based on all the cases he is dealing with) and the consulate said 3-4 months!

Prepare for a November conclusion, maybe October or even September!!!! Same as us.

Oops I meant consulate in to interview is 89 days.

endoftheroad, are you still waiting for the consulate to process your petition? Your timeline is also moving quite nicely, and most important it is moving :)

Yes, sticking at the DHL zone I think. :(
