To the Canadian gals, be jealous, cause my medical was in Edmonton and interview in Calgary 15 years ago however lol.............neener neener....

Just ignore me...still shakin' the paper in my hot little hand! LOL.

I just went on the immigration timeline, and was so happy to see your name on the approved list. Congrats!!! I knew that you were going to get it this week.:dance::dance:

Wow ... so much anxiety right now ... just got a touch literally sometime in the last 15 minutes ... I got home from work looked and it still said 5/05/09 .. just looked after taking a shower and was just updated with 8 / 10 /09 ..... wow I really hope the approval is on its way soon ..

I can't wait to join the happy train in this thread ...

CONGRATS ALLIE ... I know you been stressing and worrying like myself and Jenelyn so it is awesome to hear you got the NOA2!!

PS: However it still says Case received and Pending :(

Wow, that is great news. It could be the final "touch."

Oops I guess mine went with the others on 8/6 to Hong Kong. I am going now to call the USEM. "Loaded" means they have it electronically and "Open" means they also have the hard copy.

Yes, I guess I do have a few more weeks to go. I just hope its late August though. So, far everyone in this group is getting approved. That is a good sign :). Thanks for the positive hope.

OMG!!! I got so excited when I heard your approval Allie! Hopefully that means I only have another 10 days... Last touch was 5-15, on the letter it's dated 5-12.... please please please let me be soon!! Riggs is just like Nigel with the whole, "lets not get too excited about things" and " I'll relax when I get through security at the airport, not before then!"... it will be so frustrating when he's not jumping up and down freaking out with me! Those brits... lol... :energy:

Wait until a couple months from now when you notice the (for the sake of this example) October thread and you feel so bad for all the people in there who still have so long to go. You start wishing that they has applied when you did so they could be getting their approvals now. I often wonder if the people who applied in January look at the April filers thread and think that.

Yeah, that's why the threads are split up by months so that folks with the same month NOA1 dates can share their experiences. I can imagine that people that had a January/Feb/March NOA1 date or May/June/July NOA1 date would feel more at home in their monthly thread and not in the April thread, but that is up to them. I agree that we have a lively bunch here so I can feel that many of you are here for the "action" and that is fine.

SS, I bet that's your NOA2! That seems to be how it's going lately. I never got any touches around my approval time, no e-mails, and my case still says "received and pending." I think the fact that they logged an update means that your NOA2 hardcopy is coming soon!

In other news---they received my paperwork at the embassy in Dakar this morning!!!! Woot woot!

One of my bosses keeps laughing at me getting so excited and keeps telling me, "You are so obsessed." Well, yeah. I am obsessed. I didn't think anyone could fault me for that. Oh-and it's not like I'm walking around all day talking about the visa process-I just get excited when something new happens, then I try to go back to work. Just kind of surprised that anyone would expect me to be anything less than thrilled by the progress that's been made in the last two-three weeks.
