i call NVC last night to see if they received the NOA2 and after a week nothing. then the guy ask me what the letter,(This above petition has been approves and forwarded to the listed consulate.

Is it the case that they bypass the NVC and sent the petition straight to Bogota Colombia.

Hi there, as I was reading your post, those were exactly the words that I have received in my NOA2, the answer is "NO", they do not bypass NVC, what u should do now is call NVC and find out your file number BGT--------, and maybe your case has already been forwarded to Bogota, but remember first you must call NVC.

GOOD LUCK

LUISH

I recieved a letter from Vermont saying they were sending our approved 129 to NVC and that it would take about a week. The NVC would take about a week and they would send our application file to Bogota. Bogota would take another week to send notification out to me. NVC was late sending to Bogota and Bogota had no record for more than a week when we called. When Glenda called Bogota again they had not recieved our application file but they could see it was coming in the system. They advised us to send the DS 2100 and DS 230. We did this immediately and didn't wait to recieve the notification form Bogota. We just looked yesterday and we are scheduled for our interview 4/30th. Down load the instructions from the US Embassy in Bogota and start working on the packet NOW. Don't wait to be notified. DO make sure Bogota see's that your file is on the way from the NVC. Good luck.
