I'm not sure what to respond for question 9 on the I-134 affidavit of support.

Question 9 asks: Have I previously submitted an affidavit of support for anyone.

I submitted an I-134 from my fiancee for a visitors visa a few months before we sent in our 129F packet. Her visitor visa was denied. Should I put that I submitted a petition on her behalf? Whats more is when she was at the embassy for the interview for the visitor visa the officer said that he/she didn't need the I-134, then denied her, and after asked to see the affidavit of support. My fiancee isn't sure if the officer actually enter it into the computer or just glanced at it to see if it would have made a difference.

I'm concerned because my salary is close to the 125% and I don't want to make any mistakes.

Please help. Thanks

Yes, you submitted one. No problem, the visa was denied. The I-134 was never "used" and you have, now, no dependants because of it. You cannot say "no". If you feel it necessary, and why not, attach an explaination. Answer "yes" and in the date subitted portion write "see attched" and add the explanation.

Even if she HAD received the visa the I-134 is a very limited affadavit. For the K-1 it is only valid until the AOS, for a visitor visa it is only valid until they leave the country. At any rate it will not affect the calculation of your obligations now.
