hi everybody,

Ok so I am lost...I married a Dominican woman recently in the Dominican republic. We have a two yr-old daughter...So how do I get them to the US. I do not know who to turn to. everytime i call USCIS all I get is a recording and my local office only makes appointments for pending applications. I mean What does half the stuff mean on the I-130 form ...Is the alien registration # her passport number or her ID #? I really do not want to screw up the form and have to start again. Is there any site that explains what each line means?...thanks for any help

you can google "I-130 sample form" and go from there.

The "A#" is N/A unless she has been here before and assigned one.

you can google "alien registration number" if you arent sure.

Just take a breathe and relax. It's not as hard as it seems right now. :)

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Ok that was pretty easy. Only problem is that one website says I must file an I-864 with the I-130 and another says the NVC will send you a packet with an I-864 to fill out and submit...Which one is right. Are there any other forms that i must submit when filing the I-130?

Option 1 looks like the best. As you have to file the G325A twice in option 2.. I don't know I am still lost. But typical red tape

Option 1 looks like the best. As you have to file the G325A twice in option 2.. I don't know I am still lost. But typical red tape

Petitioner and Beneficiary both fill the G-325A (4-pages form each person).
